They don't work in 0/1 way (like "u have no chance!"/"you'll make it for sure!"), neither they show predicted position... Odds of 2.34 is an implied chance to qualify of 42%
In the other thread i said myself that i'm never predicted to qualify, but that's only semi-true, because just like yours, my odds usually vary between 2 and 3 (33-50%). That's far from flopping.
Even if someone qualifies with odds at 10, it's perfectly normal if such a case happens once a 10 times and it doesn't give a reason to say the odds were inaccurate.
I storage statistical data from past few editions and as it's getting larger, the formula that is used will become better. But it doesn't mean people, who get 2.34, will be never qualifying!
