Closing words for the final results show, thanks to everyone for participating in this edition, special thanks to @berlyda for the recap tool! I wanted to make this edition similar to the ones 8 years ago when WSN last hosted, while ofc with a full time job compared to waiting for uni to start with all the free time the experience was a lot different, but I hope that it brought back at least some of the vibes from times back then, and thank you for having patience with the delayed deadlines and shows and what not.

Congrats from the fullest of my heart! It kinda reminds me of Tcher-Racoi win with "Sometimes I'm Alone", I really liked it too but never thought it's gonna have such big success, and here's the same thing

@strajker, this hosting was incredible, and it's not just a word, i really mean it! The ideas with banners and spokesotters really brought new life to this contest and i have no doubt this hosting is going to be remembered for long time! And as for the results of

Omg, a semi win????? I predicted myself 58 points before semi results and I thought I could qualify only through REJU, but not through the 1st place in regular... This semi really seemed like not the most friendly both for and for the kind of entry I sent, so it's a really big big surprise for me...... Thank you all And btw, it's my first even semi win When I won in 205th final, I was only 3rd in semi and I also had two 2nd places, but not a single first place until now...

And as for the result in the final... I really had no expectations, so 9th is a great result, thank you all once again
I'm especially pleasantly surprised with some points from unexpected nations, it really made my evening

The only thing that bothers me is that I was so high in the first half of the voting, it looked like I can end up in PQ, and there was a chance until the very end... But no, even some points from WL-voters didn't help that, ended up 11th there...(
I feel so conflicted now because it's like I should not complain because so many good things happened throughout this whole edition to me, but gosh it always hurts to fall in the end of the voting... That's a sad part, but oh well...

First of all, this was quite unexpected! Thank you so so so much, it really made my day.

This marks exactly 110 editions since my last win also by an Irish artist. The Spark went viral so quickly and I actually discovered it when I retrieved my lost phone in Dublin from a taxi driver whose car I jumped in and realized he was not my Uber ride. After getting my phone back Tove Lo popped on my for you page on TikTok dancing to The Spark and I gave it a listen and instantly loved it. These Cork and Lisdoonvarna kids really do have something!

For those unfamiliar with this phenomenon, my lucky number happens to be 23 as it is the date of my sister’s birthday and has brought me many great experiences and opportunities. But also my three wins being 99, 119 and 229. Always trust the numbers!

That being said, as @takeru pointed out on Skype, I will gladly host NSC 230 #sign even though a super busy summer is ahead of me.

Before doing anything of that sort I would like to express my gratitude to all these amazing voters that appreciated The Spark, thank you so much!
