Yeah, absolutely. I think it's totally fair to welcome Necluda to the roster as well, if you see it fit, as they've earned their position in the main roster.

However, we've already drawn the semis and are currently in the process of posting the shows, so no further entries will be accepted, should they try to submit one. Which means Necluda can officially debut in NSC 228 as a participant, if they manage to send an entry within the next confirmation period.

We have done all we can as the host team to encourage everyone to participate during the confirmation period (both within the original deadline, as well as the extended deadline), with continuous reminders and user mentions. So we think we have done our part. As our sole purpose is the inclusion of every interested party in the contest.

I am sorry for the confusion I have caused, but I never received a notification for this (or other possible tags that may have happened), and I was not aware that I was able to send a song this edition. Had I noticed this any time earlier, I would have sent my first entry.

We are not going to rob a nation of participation. Especially when they have cared enough to submit an entry (we sent many reminders, mind you) and is willing to participate in the edition

Letting a nation debut without a competing entry would basically be a waste of roster space when there are nations who "show up". Afnia has shown their will to participate and that should be honored.

I am not exactly sure what show up actually means in this context, or where the reminders are as you mentioned above aside from that one tag that I was never made aware of. But I don't think I have been neglecting here or showing lack of will by any means. I am not happy to be a part of this comparison, especially after spending months in the waiting list and by committing to this contest by listening to the songs and voting for them already, which I thought was the whole point of WL in the first place. Those who are not committed can't even make it to the top of the list.

Here's my promotion story. Last Friday (March 29), I receieved a notification that my Marcobia thread had been moved to the NSC forum. I then looked at this confirmation thread and noticed that the deadline was on that day. So I contacted Stargazer asking if it meant that I could participate in NSC 227, and she said "Yes." Fortunately, I had a song in mind and sent it as my entry for the contest.

I agree with Judas that the notice was too short. As a former member of FSC, I can tell you that Judas is a responsible person, having served as a moderator of FSC during the last several months. Therefore, I believe that Judas would have submitted an entry if there were sufficient time between the promotion and the confirmation deadline.
