Ulrikke - snippet only shows a tepid chorus, but it's ulrikke and i believe she can make it work?
Eirik - is to avicii what carlos ukareda is to ed sheeran.
Rasmus - The sort of weirdo experimental shit that appeals to me and I alone. Very MEANDI - Drip, if you're into that.
Kate - A presence that is liked.
Alessandra Mele - a Hammer of Thor on CRACK. Instant fave.
JOWST & Byron - a hilarious dad anthem.
Umami Tsunami - a bunch of teenagers bringing an overproduced shitfest mess that is meant to appeal at the fangirls but instead lands at VERY fucking boring.

Sandra - if beat of broken hearts and la melodia had a baby, this is what it would sound like.
Jone - this year's token Party Anthem is a very good one.
Swing'It - their song is called "prohibition" and yes, it sounds exactly like what you'd expect.
Ella - The most Anaraqueen song ever willed into existence.
Alejandro - Go AWAY, Alejandro Estrella.
Bjorn - I do NOT trust Norway enough to NOT vote for the pathetic sobbing ballad gay.
Elsie Bay - Doing her Elsie del Bey thing, with similar results.

Skrellex - every drag queen song ever. idk, i just like drag, I guess?
Tiril - graduated cum laude from the Sissi/Arilena school of "middle-of-the-road mid-tempo pop voids"
Akuvi - The most Laurel you can get without actually getting Laurel. At least they got a black woman to sing the Wild clone this time around...x
Atle - Does Atle think he can sing his song without falling hard off the tonal ladder because I sure don't.
Eline - Indie weirdo with a dark pop song mild
Maria Celin - the other and very underwhelming Hammer of Thor Clone.
Stig - inoffensive reggae pop idk why i'm even surprised. it's his thing and it's not my thing.
Overall: Better than last year (Alessandra, Jone and JOWST are single-handedly better than anything for last MGP from merely a minute long snippet), but not as good as i'd like. Oh well, progress, I guess.

Jowst was my 2017 winner but that snippet is crap, the Ulrikke snippet sounds super generic in my opinion. It’s looking like Elsie will be my MGP winner again

Lots of semi-EDM Gabry Ponte (and somewhat LUM!X)-style songs in this selection that may cancel each other, but I agree "Queen of Kings" sounds like the most enjoyable of them all. But winning the contest, please, no?Alessandra? Quite a banger
