Take all my clothes Norway (giving them to you in advance). Monument is such a triumph. I'd almost shed a tear if the last few months hadn't have left me dry.
I saw the interview KEiiNO gave in which they said that this time they were trying to appeal to juries. I feared the worst after reading that. Thankfully the only way this trio will ever become jury darlings is if they locked Tom and Fred into a soundproofed box for three minutes to let Alexandra do her thing on a non KEiiNO produced track. What we've got again is a big lump of loveable Eurovision cheddar that's somehow ever campier than Spirit In The Sky, and we're all the more enriched for it. I love the sultry whispered parts (very Army of Lovers). The production this time is through the roof. Those beats are slapping hard. It sounds massive. I like it so much more on the first listen that I did Spirit In The Sky, which left me with very lukewarm feelings initially. I love it even, like so incredibly much. I really needed a song like this right now. Send it Norway. Don't even think twice.

Okay so this is very interesting! SITS was a clear 11/10 and of course this doesn't reach their 2019 effort. But still a very decent Eurovision comeback! I expected something more different though after hearing them describing the song - its still very Eurovision. But of course thats nothing bad! It fells like it was made at least for 70% wit the Love Love Peace Peace formula haha... Its also giving me strong "Black Leather" vibes actually! In the end I'm still totally team KEiiNO, Monument is a 8/10 for me. The song structure is quite messy in my opinion, I would have loved to hear more ups and downs and als there is too much Alexandra and not enough Tom! (I love both of them tough)
I expect this to win MDGP easily and then end top 15 at Eurovision.

I probably broke one of my toes and I don't know if it's the pain killers talking but after lsitening to KEIINO's song again, I actually really enjoyed listening to it.
I wish I was able to bop to it now but I probably got punished by the ESC Gods after commenting on this song with "meh" earlier.

That happens now and then to me also - listening to a song, saying "meh" - and after a few more listenings wishing I wouldn't have commented on the song cause it suddenly have such a big impact on me.

I'm not a big fan of Monument at the moment. It doesn't give me the same enthusiasm as Spirit in the Sky and is missing some nuance in my opinion. For example, I feel like there should be a stronger build up to the chorus to make it more "monumental".

Another gorgeous 'Scandi Folk Schlager Eurodance' song, a sister-song to 'Spirit in the Sky', which would be perfect for ESC 2021 in my opinion

People said they were cliche and trash before and underrated them in 2019. Not a single person saw that televote win coming. We have to see it live and know the rest of the ESC line up before truly knowing, although it is true that typically returnees do worse than before.
This is the entry we need, everything is so serious nowadays.
