I have to admit that Ukraine has eaten up the competition yesterday but I am so happy for Tix and this moment and for all his haters who were so disgusting online.
it was the song that I binged the most after it came out. On the road to work, it made me feel everything.

the performance combined the NF with my teal fantasy. It was stunning and thank God emotional, because it was a sincere and raw moment.

Hope it goes Top 10.

Funny, for me it was the other way around Ukraine stands before Norway in my list (but both 12 pts), but the performance yesterday from TIX - I found myself welling up with emotion. Which almost never happens. Ukraine was stunning, but Norway was pure emotion.

How this absolute dirge dressed as a stuffed seagull managed to qualify is still beyond me. Worst song of the semi but one imo - Macedonia achieved an even higher degree of bad.
One has to consider that competition wasn't so very strong after all, when one really looks at it. All the better songs got through. Hoping this has been accidental 10th, not because of its own qualities, but due to the lack of merit in others.
Expecting it to be among last places in the final now.

i actually connected when he took of his sunglasses. i didn't know his backstory before the live show and i actually thought he might just be a bit of a wannabe poser, but that made him real. even if thats a way of trying to get "sympathy votes" i think this was really nice

We, the Portuguese, do. That's important for the way the event is perceived in our country and consequently, our future in it. If we send real or unreal music, whatever that may be, is a matter of opinion. I for one tend to think we tend to send rather poor pieces. If the general opinion of the contest is improved maybe, but just maybe, our contributions should be better. Tix is certainly not helping that cause.

It's been discussed to death anyway and I'm sure Germany's no different even though you had great songs in your national finals once, not long ago ( you never picked them sadly).
