Song 5: Kristin Husøy - "Pray for Me"
Well I would call this the weakest song so far. If this gets to the the ESC, will anti-religious people refuse to vote for this due to the title? A no hope finalist.

Rein is a joke but I personally don't find him funny. I might have actually liked it more if he intended to be more serious, as the chorus is quite catchy. I am distracted by the show.

Song 6: Rein Alexander - "One Last Time"
Now for a really lively song, this reminds me very much of Denmark's "Higher Ground" by Rasmussen in 2018. It's very catchy, and the pyrotechnics and dance routine enhanced the song. This could well win.

I actually like MGP very much this year. Tone's song is yet another beautiful one. It took time for me to grow with it, but now I finally enjoy it to the full.

Song 7: Tone Damli - "Hurts Sometimes"
A really beautiful ballad, in fact I think it's the best ballad so far. Tone has a nice voice as well, though I'm not convinced it's strong enough. Another song among those most likely to win.

Sondrey is so lovable, I doubt he's a contender tho.

Song 8: Sondrey - "Take My Time"
This is only my second time of seeing this being performed. I quite agree with people who have compared this to Sweden's 2018 and 2019 ESC entries. To a greater extent, I call this a poor attempt at a Motown-esque song; in other words a pound shop Motown-esque song. Definitely not a winner.

I am switching between this and Sweden all along and I am getting lost because the songs all play at the same time and two of the three hosts look nearly identical in both countries. Thank god the double stress is over after this week. :D
With that being said: Norway is, as usual, a powerhouse im comparison to their overhyped neighbours.

Oh and does anyone know how the voting now works? How will only 4 qualify to the next round?

That's a lame excuse to not vote for a song TBH. Can't see it happening.

Song 9: Ulrikke Brandstorp - "Attention"
One of the better ballads tonight, Ulrikke sang well, with a powerful voice, but I think there are perhaps, too many instances of the word "Attention".

Ulrikke was amazing live, there are 2 songs I like better than Attention, but Morland is my wifey so I can live with her winning.
It's all fixed for her anyway, the jury picked her directly to the final, she was given running order 9 while her biggest rival was given 1st, so why? Why do i think it's ok to still keep watching this NF?

I am gay would be the best middle finger any country has even pulled to Europe. I just love the out-thereness of the lyrics.

Well, of all the songs I root for Pray for me. It is not the perfect entry for Eurovision but it has its charm to it, and the very little Bond movie vibes get me better than other candidates.

Realistically speaking though, One last time might just win it all. The audience was quite hyped.

Song 10: Liza Vassilieva – "I Am Gay"
The final song in the MGP 2020 Final, and it's a very catchy one, with a good dance routines. The inclusion of of "rainbow" and "gay" makes it obvious what senses of both words, and hence the context of the entire song, is. If this goes to the ESC, that could put some people, particularly in more conservative countries, off voting for Norway.
