The amount of people who hate ''Hurt sometimes'' is too high! I'm shocked because it's my favorite of Norway's selection!

The first thing I thought upon hearing "Attention" is "this could win Eurovision, especially if she can lock down the high notes."

I don't love it. I actually don't even like it, if I'm being frank. But total ESC winner vibes.

Ulrikke in the pimp slot and Raylee opening is certainly telling as to who the producers are backing. I love both but Attention is the superior track with those Sanna Nielsen vibes. I don’t see it as a contender for the win in May but definitely top 10.

The final voting is all 100% online, but we can't vote as you have to state where you're from in Norway.

IDK though, the main question might be "Will enough people vote for Attention so it can reach top 4?" since we haven't really see its voting potential. I don't know if these prequalified acts are even in the public favor anyway. Somehow it's kind of more realistic to see the heat winners getting to top 4 easier.

this doesn't make much sense. the autofinalists are less likely to advance because the public didn't vote for them before? most people will be voting for the first time in the final anyway. not to mention, staging can and will change from semis to final (ulrikke has already said she was saving the full staging for the final). we have every reason to think the top 4 will be mostly or all autofinalists, simply because they are obviously better - i mean, they were picked to be finalists over the others for a reason.

I would put Ulrikke, Akuvi, Sondrey and Tone/Raylee in the top 4.

I do think the songs that competed in the semis have a slight advantage with the televoting though. They were performed twice on these shows and they were competing and people actually already voted for them and have that feeling of supporting them through the show. Meanwhile the autofinalits were more like interval acts in those semis and performed at a time where people were probably not paying that much attention to the show. The semi-finalists have been building momentum (like Wild reaching over a million streams on Spotify) and the same didn't happen to the autofinalists.
But hopefully that won't influence the public that much and they'll judge the songs equally in the night.

Running order for the final:

  1. Raylee – «Wild»
  2. Didrik & Emil – «Out of Air»
  3. Magnus Bokn – «Over The Sea»
  4. Akuvi – «Som du er»
  5. Kristin Husøy – «Pray For Me»
  6. Rein Alexander – «One Last Time»
  7. Tone Damli – «Hurts Sometimes»
  8. Sondrey – «Take My Time»
  9. Ulrikke Brandstorp – «Attention»
  10. Liza Vassilieva – «I Am Gay»

This is such an obvious and childish attempt to bury Raylee. Worse yet, I don't think it's going to work really. I think they have just buried Didrik & Emil and Raylee will be on peoples mind as the only solid entry for quite a while. They have also just demolished I Am Gay, that song is now just dead. This is a very good spot for Rein Alexander and Ulrikke (obviously), so Rein Alexander should be considered the winner of this running order I feel.

Will there be international jury in the first round, like in the last few years, or will it be 100% televoting all the way through?

No it is all 100% online voting. 4 advance, people see a recap of the 4, vote online again, 2 advance and then they perform again fully and then online vote again.

Well, three rounds of voting with the same format just seems like too much of an unnecessary hassle really :ROFLMAO:

They obviously got inspired our NF last year with multi round voting. xheat

The entire NF format has been flawed from the start imo, auto qualifiers, duals and now online voting and super finals for super finals. It just feels like an underhanded way to control the agenda, which i wouldn't expect from a broadcaster like NRK. I doubt ill watch this final at all, but multi round voting is such an overkill. Plus online voting? Is it an app or do people physically need to go online. I can already see a whole host of problems with people trying to get on to vote all at once and it crashing, and if its purely online then it surely means older people will be less inclined to vote.

The autofinalists are picked by juries, while the heat finalists were picked by televote in the end. In a final system that does 100% televote, especially in a divisive system where you have to state your part of Norway to vote, the heat finalists might have a bit of advantage by 'representing' their region, (which the autofinalists aren't exactly that) and will probably get high number of votes in their respective region. It's weirdly inclined toward this regional pride sort of thing, it might actually work this way. It is also not explained whether the votes will be counted as a portion (e.g. 20% for Western Norway) or as an aggregate.

With only t/v i think that Rein Alexander is going to win this. People usually love vikings no matter the song.

If he does win I want a slight revamp to make the beats in the verses slightly darker. His voice suits the song really well in my opinion being a lot deeper than for example Rasmussen in 2018.
