No. But I might vote for them NEXT Saturday. ;) Haven't actually heard the entries yet tho, but from what I've read, I think there's a chance they'll be my favorite too. :)

Got scared for a second there tho, thought I had forgotten about our NF.

Haha, sorry buddy, false alarm! xlove

Re: NORWAY 2019

For sure Hank would stand out. It would be kind of an uncomfortable upset though to witness. I have a feeling fans will be most loud if something goes wrong with Norway. I'd feel kind of bad if this ends up the one NF to grant me a favourite song winning this year. It probably won't happen anyway but I don't think he's absolutely without a chance here.

I like how we're in opposite boats here. Both of us are sorely, dearly in need of something to love this Eurovision season, and we're both kind of pinning our hopes on the Norwegian NF... but I have KEiiNO 1st, then Hank 2nd or 3rd, while you have them swapped around. And we both take the view of "well, I'd obviously like my favourite to win, but at the same time I'd be happy to see other people finally getting something they love".

Because after all your bad luck this season (I think you've been even worse off than me in that regard), I really want to see you being happy with some choice sooner or later

Can't we just send both Hank and KEiiNO, please?

I might be unlucky, but I have to keep reminding myself that I've been blessed by the gods with a Serhat return. I'm lucky in that regard.

Yes, go Hank and KEiiNO! Maybe I would eventually find myself succumbing to Spirit In The Sky as BorisBubbles suggests I should. The synths in the chorus are great, but I'm just not into the way they tack on the ethno element, and the female singers voice is not my usual thing. The song would probably be 4th in my ranking if it was picked right now though. Similar to Maruv tonight, I'd be happy enough just to have something not bad and that will stand out at the contest.

I might have to choose Norway as the NF to put my curse on to get what I want though, cause 2019 needs a Hank and nowhere else is going to give us one. He really does give me Andrew W.K. and King Tuff vibes.

Please take your curse away from this NF RainyWoods - I swear that if KEiiNO don't win this, I will riot! It's the only NF result I remotely care about now that my MF faves are seemingly out of the running (Lina's odds are a joke!)

I do want to see him be happy with a Hank win (and I don't mind Hank in and of itself), but yes, his curse scares me. From memory the last time he used it was a week ago in Romania, where before the final he said something along the lines of "I look forward to seeing them pick a random blonde lady that nobody expects." And, well...

I'm afraid I placed my curse early here already a few pages back. It might be too late to stop it now.

Hello. It is I, the Eurovision Grinch. I'm here to wish you all in advance a very happy random Hank von Hell win. Please look forward to my incoming tasty points.

I’m all in on Keiino. Two close friends I have have it on replay now after I told them to listen to it once. In any other year, Mørland would be a standout winner in my opinion, but Keiino just brings this fun, feel-good, and magical energy that cannot be matched.

Keiino would be a disaster for Norway if selected. The guy doing the yoiking is ridiculous to anyone outside of the Scandi nations. The song itself is cheap and dated, reminiscent of something by Aqua back in the 90s. I'm amazed how stuff like this gets so many fans excited. Morland would get Norway a much better result in Tel Aviv.

I get your point, however I couldn't care less for results right now - I just want something FUN and KeiiNO are the most likely to deliver on that front

Also team Hank von Hell - "Fake It"! A really a wonderful song - and it would do ESC a favor to have at least ONE rock song. Don't really know how the chances are, but I hope they will kick everybody's … well, you know!

Live acoustic version of Spirit in the Sky.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0TzHXSmavo

Definitely not a preferred version of the song - but it shows that these guys can sing live!!! Really sing.... and joik... ! xheya

When I heard the first live performance of this (whatever that low-quality live concert recording was), I got a bit concerned by the vocals of the joiking guy, who seemed really unable to hit the high notes. But he improved by the second performance that was uploaded a few days ago, and is better again here... so yay! Partly because the song was pitched down here, I guess, but that's a viable strategy (Mans won with it)!

The other two seem pretty reliable on the whole in terms of vocals, which is nice. Go KEiiNO!

Re: NORWAY 2019

Spirit In The Sky is one of the best songs so far, but they need to win the NF first and the NF so far have been weirdly not predictable.
They have to break the curse lmao

Re: NORWAY 2019

I'm loving this late surge they're enjoying with the bookies. I'd say even the 49% odds of KEiiNO winning NGP are too low. I don't mean to jinx them but it's more certain than that.

Although its clear that Keiino has to win, I think Ingrid and Carina are very underrated in this Forum. Hopefully both, together with Morland, reach the Top4.

I must say that I'm excited to see how KEiiNO stages "Spirit In The Sky" - I'm very confident that they'll be able to deliver the song live :D
