I like the fact the stage is elevated to get clearer camera shots not ruined by flags. xyes
Being in the arena i think it might seem weird that the nearest audience is so far away from the stage...

Norway failed in 2011 and 2007  Plus a marvellous 26th place in 2012.
Plus, Norway is one of the countries that sends the best songs ;)

I have a suspicion they're from an unlucky non-big 5 country

I'm thinking Turkey, he/she seems to share the anti-big 5 mentality that their broadcaster has :D

It has been very quiet around Carl Espen here in Norway (at least I think so). But according to a newspaper in Bergen (Carl Espens hometown) Silent Storm was the 5th most played song on norwegian radio last week. And the most played norwegian song.
Good - we need some more fuzz about Eurovision here in Norway 2014

Someone made a comparison somewhere between this and Undo, calling them both "two Nordic sad ballads", but there's a massive difference that will shine through on the night of the final and I hope the voters see it, that is, that Carl Espen is singing about a deeply personal story written by someone who saw him go through the struggles he's singing about. Sanna is just singing a song Fredrik Kempe wrote.

Well said. IF Carl Espen can control his nerves and deliver like he did AFTER he had won the NF, I am expecting a real good placing.

I have faith in him...I think he will deliver xheart

I do too. Norway doing the concert in Amsterdam in not often. I guess carl Espen was sent there to get stage experience. And London as well. I am going for a stand-out performance. And not in a Stella Mwangi kind of way; I swear I could hear crows on my roof reacting positively when Stella started to "sing"...
