I agree that the summer theme is not very original. But...it's still quite nice I think. I'm always interested in songs that I don't know yet, about summer, sun, beach, freedom, holiday, sightseeing.....

Some more suggestions:
1) Songs with numbers (a song that has a number in the title, or says a lot of numbers inside)
2) Songs with days (Who's gonna send Friday?)
3) Songs from artists that passed away
4) Songs from ESC winners
5) Duets/collaborations of artists that both took part in ESC
6) Songs from random, unknown or exotic countries (like Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, etc)
7) Songs about social networks
8) International duets/collaborations
9) Band members go solo (the debut single of an artists that used to be in a band)

Haha, that would be great.
We have "parallel competition" of worst singers on our version of Idol, people vote for them via internet and they are eliminated every week one by one. The winner gets to perform on the finale
