I like doctormalisimo's idea about randomly assigning countries but would allow song as old as 1 year and covers too (not to deplete supply of songs for real FSC).

I do not think there is enough countries for an American spin-off (not sure about Asian one).

For the Asian spin-off, if we include everything in Continental/Geographic/Political Asia, we would have a lot to choose from

As for American spin-off, what would be the basis of signing up for a state? Would it be where the singer is born?

xyeahI hosted a spin-off like this one last year and for me it was really fun to see what people chose for the countries they got drawn I don't know what the other users think but this is one idea I would really support
