actually, Kingdom of Slovenians, Croats and Serbs was first. and we weren't independant till then, we were a part of Austrian-Hungarian monarchy (I think Serbia and Slovenia were as well but I could be wrong)

that Yugoslavia that showed up in 1991, after Croatia and Slovenia left former Yugoslavia (SFRJ) is not a successor of SFRJ. they just took the name but that wasn't the same country :mrgreen:

btw, the name was changed in 1929.

Actually, I meant that each country existed per se before Yugoslavia was created. Serbia has been under the ruler ship of the Ottoman Empire for 500 years as well, and we were not called Turkey, but Serbia.

As for the second part, yes you are correct, I missed the part where the name changed in 1929, however it was still monarchy and it was called "Kingdom of Yugoslavia". Then in the 40's (I think it was 1943) the name changed again into the "Democratic Federate Republic Of Yugoslavia". It was no longer a monarchy. I didn't miss the year, I only forgot to mention that even before SFRJ was created it had another name before it.

We agree on the other parts :D

Yes, that one would be nice too! :D I like it more than the current cheer smiley from here (I think everyone's noticed that by now xrofl2) :mrgreen:
