So no edsilia BUT...im expecting a lot of the new girlband LOEKZ! Two girls (Merel and Martine) were the backings of Edsilia in 2007!

This is a pic of the group Lady Fierce.
The one on the left (merel) and the blond one (elske) are for sure two bandmembers

OMG!! I love it!! I know its a preview but it sounds like a summerish-vengaboys song I hope they win!!

If I have to choose one of the short versions the singers have sung and have been put on Youtube, then it's Loekz that wins for me.

But it still extremly old-fashioned! I so want Netherlands to do well in ESC now...but they won't do it this time either

OH MY LORD! I know, we havent heard the full versions yet and i really want to wait for that before i say who I think should go to Oslo..BUT...this was just on Dutch TV and I love it even more!! It sounds decent it sounds great me thinks Though im not sure if this will be their final version!

Has Ik Ben Verliefd won the Dutch NF? Is that why the thread has it in the title? If so, way to go Netherlands! This would have won Eurovision in any year between 1956 and 1966. I love it! Sooooo retro!

There was no NF for the song. There'll be a different version, though with a new singer, that's what the NF's for.

Also, to find the final version, that will be different. In the beginning there was a composer chosen (the same one who wrote the 1973 Dutch entry) and he composed this song. Unfortunately for you, the song may lose some of its old-fashioned aura.

I loved the sound. I liked De Oude Musikant too. God forbid they give it a Shakira-disco sound with semi-naked bimbos dancing round. Yeah, I guess I'm just getting a bit past it!!!

aww thank you guys, i know..my country has much better music to offer but unfortunately the TROS will decide which artists and what kind of music we're gonna send. at least till 2011/2012 or something.
But im sure there must be people who like these kind of songs!

I have to admit that i like the shalali song a bit more and im glad its in Dutch

Really? I loved them too Im not a big fan of the toppers but the song made me smile everytime i heard it lol i prefer the original version though, not the remixed one! <-- but that one is still pretty okay
