Director of RTCG confirmed, in an interview for the :me: journals, that :me: will participate in Copenhagen. The name of the entrant will be announced soon :D It is almost certain that it will be Sergej Ćetković.

Finally some good news :D

Well if Montenegro really want to qualify to the final for the first time ever, and perhaps win, then for goodness sake pick a decent song. Don't pick that awful mish-mash of rap and dubstep again, it was bad enough having to endure that sort of thing in one of the 2013 semi-finals. Go for something like "Fairytale" (2009), "Euphoria" (2013) or "Only Teardrops" (2013). Alternatively pick a soothing ballad (adult kids' version of the CBeebies Goodnight Song), like Croatia's 2013 entry (which undeservedly failed to qualify) or Iceland's 2013 entry "Ég Á Líf" (which qualified but deserved much better than 17th place and 47 points)

Montenegro is showing real Eurovision-spirit! Even though they have had lousy results so far, they are not giving up!!! I like that attitude! I would be VERY happy to see Montenegro in the final top 10. Hoping for a great entry.

You leave my Montenegro alone!!! There are 30-40 other countries in the contest who can satisfy your mainstream pop needs, but there's only one who is daring enough to send dubstep and donkey-riding alternative satirical rappers. They may be eccentric, they may not conform to your traditional songwriting norms, they may have little realistic hope of ever qualifying for the final, but Eurovision wouldn't be the same without them.

Ehm? For your information Montenegro was #4 in the televoting last year... so I have no idea what you're on about? Jury votes may influence the outcome, but they're not legitimate what-so-ever and the public decided that Montenegro was a worthy qualifier last year, and that is what counts! It was one of the few entries that was a bit daring and one of few entries that actually sounded like it was from this side of the decade and not some relic.

And the last thing ESC need is even more countries playing it safe with Swedish written Disney or cheese crap! xpuke

Please don't be crap this time Montenegro!! You've proved you can send something really good!!

Impromptu Montenegro top 3:

1. Igranka - well yes it was 4th with the public but in the context of the competition that's not "what counts"...still, it's a travesty that the juries were seemingly so repelled by this one.
2. Just Get Out Of My Life - not quite what Shady Lady was the year before...well quite a long way off actually, but still fairly catchy and in most years would be one of the better songs.
3. Euro Neuro - best of the dregs...the "always stay cool like a swimming pool" lyric might be what has pushed it into bronze for me.

Honorable mentions go to: none of the others.

Coming up with a better performance than Igranka will be a difficult task but fingers crossed....

Yeah... considering the type of song they pulled it off really great live... usually it's a type of song that atleast rely on backing vocals.

I was in two minds about Montenegro this year. Part of me was expecting them to qualify through success in the televote. But then i knew the Juries wouldn't like it too much. As A-lister said they pulled it off very well on stage, and from seeing that i expected them to qualify.
