Yup, already the recap gave quite a good picture of the selection. Although I watched it live, you didn't miss much It actually was underwhelming. And yes, Busker was one of the highlights. I'd point out Nathan and Stefan as well.
But otherwise... Quite meh in my opinion (and sorry, Malta...)

but it's such a shame, i'm rooting for malta and want them to do well, but this selection is horrific. i can't believe that the maltese music scene doesn't have more to offer
anyway, all they need is 1 good song even if 20+ are utter crap, so maybe they pick the right one (i havent dared to listen to the full version of the busker yet but i hope its good)

Matt Black is surprisingly growing on me a lot. Him or the busker for Liverpool i really don’t like checkmate (although it’s still more qualitative than most others). Stefan with heartbreaker is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

Tbh the fact that both the TV Station as well as Aidan were willing to reach such an Agreement makes me hopeful that we‘ll see him again in one way or another at the Maltese ESC process and I appreciate that a lot. If he went to San Marino, surely they wouldn’t ever let him perform in Maltese and that would be sad so I want him in Malta. I am kinda hoping for an internal selection at some point in the near Future, cause Let’s Face it, their national final is much ado about nothing. Let The Busker shine this year with their very much fun and cute Song that Will very much (unfortunately) NQ and then next year Aidan Will take the throne and lead Aidan to a well deserved FFF (I sound mean and bitter but I am actually rooting for both Malta and Aidan and I love both of them, and I liked both Ritmu and Regina (Regina even more actually) but I don’t see them Score as high as they did in the Bubble (though I know Regina was divisive)).

I dont know what it is, but I still dont think its Brookes year. Even though I hope for her win and make a Destiny or Ira and come up with a new banger. However, I think its gonna be Ryan Hill. Dont know why, but I feel like thats what Malta will be voting for?

This! No matter the outcome tonight, chances are Malta is NQing once again. How come such a small country with 500k inhabitants manages to choose 40 songs? They should choose 10/15 at the very most, they're gonna run out of singers if they continue like this hahahah

I just watched Aidan's interval on Youtube, he is really made for Eurovision. Well done TVM - not. Hopefully he will come back and win the NF some day.
