Stefan Galea last competed in MESC in 2016. He's doing his best Fabrizio Faniello impression in Heartbreaker. This isn't meant to be a complement.

John Galea may be dressed for the marching band but he has one of the better songs. Touching story in his postcard but an average singer though.

Just speaks to how weak tonight's quarterfinal has been.

Jake has a bland repetitive electro pop song out of the early 2000's. Decent voice to be fair. Once again the outfit is the biggest standout. Sparkly silver suit.

Such a watered down effort compared to Chris Grech's previous song. Song doesn't suit his voice either.

@BarefootBoogaloo Guess who wrote the last song we hear in this selection for Maria Christina?

You were right.. it's not as good as i thought:lol::cry:

But not to worry, i started vibing with :lt: Donata's "Dreamer"xmusic
And unlike Maria Christina, Donata has proved herself in the past to be a good performer :D

Which Maltese turd do you mean?

BTW. what is the worst track out of those participating in MESC (it's a question for all of these who have listened to them)? I want to check the worst out of morbid curiosity! I don't expect to find more than one or two ok-ish songs here anyway.

I want to honor your curiosity but the choices are Honestly too abundant to count. Like, 3/4 of them? But if you want something really embarrassing, Check Nino from Moldova. I doubt anyone can beat that this year, even Malta.

It depends who you ask. For many people Jason Scerri "Anything Can Happen" is really bad, but he's my 3rd place
I personally am more agitated by :hr: Maja Grgić "I Still Live" than any shit song from Malta :ROFLMAO:

But to answer your question: Dominic and Anna "Whatever Wind May Blow" is quite tragic

Jason Scerri was probably the most amateur one so I'll go with that. I didn't realize until this selection that he is a brother of Debbie Scerri who represented Malta at ESC in 1997 (one of their best ever entries in my view)

Why do we even bother? There is a 50% chance the pre-determined winner will change the entry for ESC anyways... "Transparency and fair selection" according to PBS.
