Well, now I hope she get a good song because her amazing vocals won't be enough to lift it otherwise. And I say that as a fan of women with big voice power.
Not My Soul was fun and conveyed so much energy, I'm not saying they should send a rip-off but an uptempo in this vein would be the best choice. Not another power ballad or plain bop that won't show us her singing talent.

Regarding the presented song, hmmm it is not bad, but I'm not that thrilled..I like visuals, her outfit and make up though..

I have to be honest at this point and say I'm not particularly too excited for this artist choice. I do like a big voice but I feel like I'm missing an earthliness with Destiny. She's very much of the listen to what I can do era of vocalists. It's more about what notes she can reach than what's behind them. I'm not connecting in a way I would with say a power house diva like Martha Wash. Then again, these songs I've been listening to are flipping X Factor performances so it's basically karaoke. No one is at their best during these personality vacuum experiences. She's also incredibly young attempting a type of music that requires time and experiences to be at your top game.

I agree I think with people here hoping that they give her something a bit more fun. I don't think I want a ballad from Destiny. Something Lizzo Juice-esque could be the ticket to get me on board.

yeah, destiny is incredible but malta has DEFINITELY not earned the right to have songless hype just based on the artist. chameleon was good, but not good enough to undo years of Being Malta all by itself.

Yeah but Destiny is a JESC winner so there should be a lot of anticipation.
