Just listened again and I'm going to speak to her manager and see if I can get a copy of it to pass on to my DJ mates... they will play it a lot!

Its a club hit!

I can see this SMASHING the club charts everywhere!

Is it just me? Or am I hearing more or less the same kind of stuff from several countries; rather modern songs sung by female singers with (at least recorded) a good, but definitely not a memorable voice? Norway, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Czech R - and now Malta.

Of course I am not saying that all the songs sound the same. Or that they are bad - definitely not. But in the votings I think these might be fighting for many of the same votes. And it might be hard to stand out.

Awwww, I really, really wanted to like it. Maybe my high expectations were not helping but the song is slightly disappointing. Malta is in a tough Semi, there is a lot of competition and I don't know if this one will stand out enough. It's radio friendly but it's also a bit too generic. The chorus isn't too bad, maybe live it'll sound amazing with a bunch of talented backup singers, you just never know.

I can't say which I like better, both Chameleon and Walk on Water are just both somewhere in between for me. I'm bummed out. :(

I don't like the song... it's not memorable. Still somehow I think it will be great live and earn a spot in top 10. 3 pts.

I've got mixed feelings. This certainly leaves a better first impression than "Chameleon" did, and the song builds quite well, with a pretty cool bridge. As far as super light drum 'n' bass pop goes, this one is alright. The problem for me is how she carries it. A song like this needs a force of nature behind it. She's drowned out in the chorus even in the studio version. There's just no depth here or feelings to grab a hold of. Decent song but unsure if i'll be able to warm to it. The production is great though, and overall a big thumbs up for the track itself. Maybe Ira will surprise me on the night. I'm ready to be proved wrong.

6 points for now.

I just imagined Quen Murtha Washing singing this and now don't think I'll ever be able to give it a fair shake.

I really like it, it's the typical song hated by the fans because it's modern and edgy, but that appeals to me :D Well done Malta!

Modern and edgy?  Are you serious??

I knew the build-up was overhyped. I don't mind this one but I expected better. It sounds like a mess as it proceeds.

Good quality change increasing chances for Malta to qualify. Deserves to be in TOP-10 of ESC but still not the best of. :7:

Good lord, she would take it to the next level and a half. The voice is in the majority of cases the most important instrument. It's no good having a wondrous song if you pair it with someone who struggles to project and connect. I'm listening back to the live performance of "Chameleon" now and i've no idea how Ira is going to get through this new song. It's much bigger and requires a tonne more power, which I worry will be difficult, as what she delivers seems so thin and lacking. There will obviously be a mini choir on stage to help lift it, but i'm worried they are going to drown instead of enhance and compliment.

Good point, I feel the same.

Reason: so many Swedish authors (the same guys) involved year after year, but in different countries. You can easily recognize that.

Maybe yes but I think it's good that we have this year more quality songs.

If this was song from Russia or another post-USSR country, you would praise it but sinceit is Malta and Ira Losco your mouth getting dry from hatred.
