Ira's song is alright....nothing special or memorable.

Completely agree. Brooke was serving Eurovision screaming Perfect-Hair Diva and it totally worked.

I still don't understand how Malta has chosen this song when there some of them were much better than this. Well, maybe it is not bad at all, but she sings horrible live. Even with the a new version and more rehearsals (if there's anything to do with her weak voice) I don't think Malta will celebrate the Grand Final this year. I give it 3 points just for the song.

THE GOOD:

-Overall, the song is alright with decent vocals and decent instrumentals.

THE BAD:

-I don't know why, but I feel like the song is a bit bland. Everything just blends into this blandness that is this song. Maybe it's a case of it trying to blend too many elements into one package.
-On top of that, there were better songs in the field.

THE VERDICT:

While I appreciate the fact that she composed the song with help, I'm left saying "blah" at the end of it all. I do not see this song making it to the Final, and if it does, it'll be at the low end of the leaderboard. 6 points

This song isn't bad at all, but it doesn't wow me. It's a bland song that tries too hard to not be bland with the mish-mash of aesthetic elements that they inject into the song. Instead of being a nice sensory experience, it falls flat for me. Her 2002 entry is definitely catchier and oomphier.

And the winner for Malta is... Amber with Warrior! Oh wait.. . it's Ira Losco.

This year's NF for Malta was as spontaneous as the Belarusan NF's. No one would've ever predicted (ha! ha! ha!) Ira Losco winning.

I don't like the song, I preferred the other one she sang tbt. BUT, the thing I can't stand the most is that she's NICE as a PAIN IN the ***. A wannabe diva. No, we don't need that, thank you

This is not a bad song, but not special either. I think the victory is partly due to the popularity of Ira among Eurovision fans. I wonder how it will do in Stockholm.

Not bad... It has enjoyable parts to it and I have come to like it. But over-all it falls a bit flat and just doesn't have that oomph of quality. However, it's nice and easy and enjoyable to listen to actually, even though I'm not very captivated by it. Borderline qualifier, perhaps.

Oh my, I was so afraid when I opened the tab with the forum this morning, I really didn't want Brooke to win. I don't know why I care, Ira's pretty terrible as well, but Brooke just has something that makes me throw the PC outside the window.

Out of the 5 songs, this is the weakest and most probably will remain somewhere at the end of my ranking. To be honest I don't think I ever liked Malta's entries, so it's not like a big surprise to me.

I did not follow Maltas selection this year. Why? Well; As usually they have a field of a whole lot of songs that are all quite uninteresting. When the overall quality is quite mediocre I really dont understand why they need more than f.ex 10 songs picked out. Same things this year. I tried listening to some of the songs - but soon lost interest.

I dont remember if I had listened to Chameleon before or not. And how could I remember? This is unfortunately rather forgettable. Not utterly bad - just uninspiring and "heard-it-all-before"-ish.

She was so cute back in 2002. My mom was obsessed with her white suit the song was also great. I like her as an artist, but she deserves a better song. This one is a bit forgettable..

No, it's both the artist and song, but the rules say that they can change the song if they wish.

In my opinion, definitely a finalist and may rank higher than 10th, but just not my cup of tea. So, 6 points for now.
