It'll be Ira, it's an asset to perform in the second last position.

Re: MALTA 2016

Unfortunatelly Sarah Crystal and Stefan Galea didn´t get through yesterday -.- They were among my top 10.

My favorites were Deborah C, Dominic Cini, Cristabelle Borg and Ira Losco´s "Chameleon", which imo will be Malta´s entry for Stockholm.

Tell her if she doesn't win then it's rigged.

What do you mean ? :-/

He means that he is going to meet Christabelle and so he is asking us whether we have things that we would like to tell her, and he'll tell her ;)

I was speaking to her last night throughout the show and after it and I've decided to send her messages of support from everyone tonight before the show

Uuuuuh I see, but she'll end up on the second place as she did last year with 'Rush'.
It's kinda a curse which was cast to her because both 'Kingdom' and 'Rush' were good and she has been facing great maltese artists (except Amber...) !

Tell her that no matter what happens she better be there next year! I wish her best of luck, I wish her the win and I hope she enjoys every minute on the stage. She is a gorgeous performer! xheatxheya

From the songs I've heard I literally don't care who wins tonight. If Chameleon is the best they can do, be as well not turning up in May.

Chameleon is quite great imo.

I can see some people like it, but for me it's just bog-standard modern pop. I like a little more oomph in my entries.

Re: MALTA 2016

I finally listened to the 14 Finalists for the first time and it's so Malta. Almost every song is middle-of-the-road pop and there is nothing in the running that I truly hate. But at the same time, not a single song stood out to me. Everyone is raving about Ira and Christabelle and I don't see why these two stand out more than the rest. I guess if I had to pick a favorite it would be Maxine. Malta does better when they send something more unique and memorable such as Gianluca but I don't see anything in the running that really tickles my fancy.

The winner is decided by a jury so I don't even know why they bother with the televote. The broadcaster can do whatever they want obviously but it's just a silly system if you as me. There is almost no diversity in the jury votes. They usually have the same top songs and clearly talk amongst each other prior to the vote which is unfortunate. Either way, my hope of Malta finally winning so I can visit this beautiful country will clearly have to wait a little longer.

I'm probably going to skip the show tonight as I don't have a true favorite and the show takes way too long. But good luck to all participants!

I absolutely agree when it comes to the voting, it should be 50%/50% or there's just no point in holding a televote. And then again if you hold a NF where only the jury votes you might as well choose the entry behind closed doors!
