Honestly, if I was Ira I'd be pretty happy about that ruling. With two of her songs in the final, it's entirely possible that her fans would split their vote between her two entries; with only one, they'll be a little more focused together, giving whichever song is in the final a better chance of winning.
Still, I do think it's a little silly that they let her two songs through anyway. Chameleon's so far ahead of her other entry, both in quality and popularity, that it'll obviously take the finals slot, and I'd be very surprised indeed if things didn't go that way... I'd have preferred that they chose a different entry for the semis in the first place rather than putting in Ira's second entry that won't qualify anyway unless it somehow beats Chameleon.

Both Chameleon and That's Why I Love You are very strong and I'll be quite happy to see one of them winning the MESC 2016.
Although I don't think Ira could win, or... really, I don't really care about Malta in the ESC whereas I'm interested in them in the JESC. XD

I'm still baffled by the way Malta decides to do their semifinal. I thought the whole point of semifinals was to use them when you've got too many songs to fit in a single night... not just some kinda redundant elimination round. What does it even accomplish?
Looked through a bunch of the rehearsal videos, and it does nothing to change my opinion that Christabelle or Ira (with Chameleon) are the two best options by far. I'd love to see one of them end in the top 10 at Eurovision this year.

The only one I like is "Young Love"... It stands out, has a nice atmosphere. The rest is honestly cr*p... :? Or at least a million miles away from my music taste.

I haven't heard most of the songs so going in mostly blind, but from the ones I've heard, it's going to be a long fucking night. I swear if that garbage "Chameleon" song wings, heads will roll. Starting with Rainywoods.

The only thing that will start to roll out on the floor, if that happens, is Ira Loscos carrier, which will restart with a flop in Stockholm.
I think Maltese NF this year is really weak, and the rehearsal clips didn't help at all for me. Except for one song and that is "Lighthouse". I think it is really cute and the rehearsal clip looked stunning. I hope for Kim, otherwise the others has to surprise me during the weekend to convince me to like their song.

Not at all, don't forget that Ira was the first singer, before Chiara, to have brought Malta a decent result in the ESC (2nd place) and with this fame all around her in Malta, I can say that she'll go to Stockholm whether she would perform TWILV or Chameleon in Stockholm.
However, I could get it wrong and see Ira Losco don't go to Stockholm after my false predictions

Ira will reach some high notes (even though there weren't any high note in Chameleon or few ones...) when she'll perform Chameleon to make the song more alive than it would be without this.
