Because it fits the casual vibe of the song?

I've always thought this had a good chance of qualification but now I'm not so sure. It is better than Latvia but it comes roughly from the same slot and might suffer the same fate. Plus, there are a lot of happy feel good songs in this semi coming later on in the show, like Poland, Belarus, Switzerland, Greece. One of them may be forgotten and left behind and i can see no other than Malta.

Well that's subjective. I think Malta's ok, but I find Switzerland vastly superior in every aspect. Still, don't forget the draw. That's not subjective at all and might be the one decisive factor, if there's any decision to be made - they might both get through!

Well, I'd say Malta's probably stronger there. It has been pointed out several times however that this competition is not The Voice. And Sebalter's vocals are sufficiently pleasant and suit his song very well, thank you very much
