Maltese is not Arabic, it's a weird mix between Italian, Arabic and some English... I would love for a song in Maltese though (not Arabic though - that doesn't make sense)... but we all know that won't happen.

And now when they can even succeed with cheese safe songs on English, chances of getting anything different is even smaller.

I know that it's not Arabic but it certainly sounds a bit like it. It would be so cool to listen to a sing in Maltese next year, but let's wait. As long as it won't be a cheesy song I'm almost happy with everything

Arab?? Why Arab when we don't even make use of our own language (apart the 70s + from 2 lines in 2000..

I would love a ballad with some lines in Maltese even if that would mean risking not qualifying or something!

But that was long ago and song kinda sucked... so it's not a strong argument for not trying with Maltese again.

I recently flew with Etihad (UAE airline) and they spoke Arabic before English with every announcement. Sounded very Maltese yep
