I admire Sheldon's brain, but not his ego.

I was wandering, how would other people pronounce "Gjoko"? That would be interesting to see, especially on BBC.

^ Most likely

If anyone wants to download "Gypsy dance" by Esma's band, you can visit the mmm website (Bojan posted the link on the other pages) and download it for free. The studio version is even better!
Btw, did Gjoko & co. plan to do some rearranging of the song? Are changes on their way?? :) There better be, since it doesn't look good so far in other people's eyes. We might as well be the only one that will like the entry. Its sad because if the song was performed on English people would have liked it more. :|

A 7 from me. This is a nice song. However it would be better without the rap part.

They better choose some wise and powerful words to suit his vocal abilities! I don't mind much the rap, but its kinda odd in the song. I am used to it anyway!

Billy "The Beast" must stay on the team.

With Vesna, at least the English lyrics won't be catastrophically bad. :p

I think the English lyrics will be nice. Vesna Malinova wrote "Red rain" (Dani Dimitrovska), if I am not mistaken. :D

^ What about AREA (Ruzica) or Kristina Arnaudova? I thought Pileva is more of a "Sonce i mesecina" related singer.

I have heard the stuff Aleksandra Pileva sings nowadays and she's definitely a rocker. In fact, I think she said "Sonce i mesecina" is one of her worst songs and that she preferred "Ne" as her Eurovision entry.

Area are really awesome though I doubt they would do Eurovision, the selection method is really off-putting since its pure fiasco. Though I've heard their 2000 song "Ti bi sakal" and it was more of a pop-dance song rather than rock.

TBH all of the recent Pileva stuff is rubbish :|

btw, the latest news is that in Oslo Gjoko will definetly sing in MACEDONIAN!!!
besides his wish to sing in english, the MRT team and the composer/producer decided to go with the macedonian version!
also, Gjoko is moving this week from Ohrid to Skopje with his family so he can work on preparing his performance on daily basis.

I think it's a good decision. Besides the lyrics issue, I've never heard Gjoko sing in English.

I have to agree with her on preferring "Ne." I don't hate Sonce & Mesecina, but I love Ne. She definitely has a specific fan base now, but at least it looks like she's doing the type of music she genuinely loves.

Good deccission :)

It's better for a song like this to be sung in a native language.
