Alain Berwich, the executive producer of the national broadcaster RTL has recently stated that they would have no problem participating in the contest again.

Several ESC-entries from this year seem to have hit the charts in Luxembourg, so that might be an indicator of ESC still being somewhat popular in the public. Unlike other microstates Luxembourg has a huge tradition in the contest, so I could really see them giving it another shot next year. Netherland's and Belgium's relatively good results this year probably had a positive impact as well.

The problem with Luxembourg is that RTL is not a public broadcaster.

The basic position was already worse for a comeback from Luxembourg.
It would be great to see them back in Eurovision 2014, also because they have a great Eurovision-tradition.

The paradox is that Itunes Luxembourg features a lot of Eurovision entries so people are very interested in the contest, maybe the wildest fans !

I wouldn't mind them borrowing artists from other countries here and there, but I would prefer them to have their own artists. They have a 500K population, they can easily hold a NF.
