In parts a bit repetitive, but overall I really like it. For now :7: with a chance to grow.
Oh wow I thought this would be something you really like too :( but maybe it will be a grower for you :)

I hope the result will be as great in Eurovision. (y)

Suddenly it reminds me somehow Pia Maria and Lumix - Halo. Modern song by young artists which wasn't appreciated. And I'm not surprised Austrians like Silvester Belt.

Well you can’t really compare them. They had terrible vocals and staging. :( and it was a 90s related song while Luktelk isn’t swimming on that 89s/90s wave.

Ok, out of that super final he was by the best choice. I can accept the diaspora locking our 12 on this, but I would be pissed if it was the roop or the other person. The threat of the Roop has had me on edge for weeks, they need to give it arrest with these annoying try hard songs. The song is good, I'm happy it won. However I wouldn't say i'm hyped by this at all really, initially I was excited it won but I think it was more because I hated the other 2 options. I don't think i'll return to listen to this before Eurovision. :6:

A bit on the annoying side with its repetitiveness, but it's not bad and definitely the best out of tonight's bunch. A solid 5 from me!

If he doesn't translate the song in English I'd like to praise :lt: once again for sending an entry in your own national language and for keeping on a good track of interesting/competent songs in recent years, I've liked quite a few. :giggle:(y)

Singing in Lithuanian is also an accomplishment given the smaller audience and market Lithuanian singers have to work with, but it pays off in terms of identity. Luktelk proves you can create something catchy even with a less spoken language.

This is... decent? Overhyped, I think, but decent. My big favourite was Žalvarinis, but I knew there was absolutely zero chance of them winning, so I can accept Silvester.

For the positives: I'm happy to see something in Lithuanian, the performance and vocals are quite good, and I adore the rave-y instrumental parts and their accompanying staging. The negatives: the verses are kind of flat, the choruses are repetitive, and the song doesn't exactly grow or change much throughout.

:6: for now, though it does feel like it has potential to grow on me.

Every year's gotta have one uncomfortably direct attempt at being some other pop star of the moment, and here we have one with first time UDAABSOPSOTM entrant Troye Sivan! Welcome aboard, Troye!

Honestly, I find this marginally more compelling than the original--low baseline for me, unfortunately. Maybe it's the very crunchy synth baseline. I'm going to give this :6: points at first listen but this has grower written all over it.

It's not something I would listen to on repeat, but I like it. The performance is pretty good as well, although during some parts, it is on the verge of getting boring. Overall a solid entry I would say.

I'll give it a :7: and I hope it stays in Lithuanian for Eurovision, cause Baltic languages are pretty cool and we rarely get to hear then in ESC.

And here comes my fourth :12: of the season: Mälmo 2024 is going to be great. I like pretty much everything about this, Lithuania will be a certain qualifier and I can see this being a top 10 finisher.

PS: We have listened to half of Eurovision songs and National Language entries are outruling English entries. That makes me so, so happy.

You are right about this. I think it is completely up my alley ... I just got a sickness called "Das deutsche Finale" right now. I am still not over it. :( Once I am healed, I will concentrate myself on other NFs again. Guess it will take a few days, then I will relisten to the songs. ;)
