My Rankings this Year. I dont see anything unfair about it. And a Score of <5 indicates that i havent listened to them more then twice, so my Scores are justified.

This is actually not funny when it actually happens. Not talking about Gebrasy winning, but the mutation of virus happening leading to a cancellation. Considering what is happening around the world currently, this joke is a little distasteful.

Yeah I guess I lost interest. Guess my musical taste and general opinion on Eurovision changed. Still here for the FSC though.

My ranking for the final of the most pointless NF of all time:

1. The Roop - Discoteque = 7/10
2. Gebrasy - Where'd You Wanna Go? = 6/10
3. Evita Cololo - Be paslapčių = 6/10
4. Voldemars Petersons - Never Fall for You Again = 5/10
5. Titas & Benas - No = 3/10
6. Martyna Jezepčikaitė - Thank You Very Much = 2/10


They haven't even won the NF yet but the novelty of The Roop's Discoteque is already starting to wear a bit thin with me unfortunately. The forced look at us being all kooky shenanigans of the live performance didn't really help, but it's still a solid, catchy song, and they will do well at the main contest. They are Lithuania's rightful representatives.

I wanted to dislike Gebrasy's song but in this NF it's honestly hard to. It's competent, he sings it well and you can remember the chorus. Meanwhile I remember absolutely nothing about Be paslapčių even after three listens. All I recall is that the production is rather nice on it and that it is vibey. Considering what it's aiming for though, I should like the song a lot more than I do. Never Fall for You Again sounds like something from a Latvian NF. I don't know what else to say.

As for the remaining two songs, the titles project my feelings. Thank you very much and no.

Actually I dislike all the Lithuanian NF except 6 or 7 songs (even though I give 10/10 to three songs, rip Gabrielius), but this final seems good, here is my ranking before the show :

Amazing or more :

1. Gebrasy "Where'd You Wanna Go" : A pure masterpiece, so sweet and lovely
2. Titas & Benas "No" : Good voices and beautiful songs, I really love it

Good :

3. The Roop "Discotheque" : I love the originality of this !

Bad :

4. Evita Cololo "Be paslapčių" : She has a nice voice but I really dislike the song, she can do much better
5. Voldemars Peterson "I'll Never Fall For You Again" : This is... I don't know how to say it, so underwhelming

Very Bad :

6. Martyna "Thank You Very Much" : The type of music that I hate

Well, I wasn't a huge fan of The Roop last year. Discotheque is a bit better, but the song is still not enough to tempt me to give more than 6 or 7 pts.They are special, no doubt about it, but it's just not for me. Gebrasy is actually a bit better than The Roop (please don't scream at me :cautious:), but is still lacking of something. And the rest - I don't care about.

LOL! So they are actually telling us the NF is just a facade. The other 6 acts (and those before in the semi-finals/heats) are just opening/interval acts for The Roop.

Edit: Where does that screenshot comes from? Is it last year's one? Because I can't find it on the LRT website.

Btw, The Roop's package here is solid. The show is on-point and the song almost lives up to its predecessor. Discoteque's verse lacks the addictive hook which On Fire had and the song felt repetitive after the first half. Discoteque is decent though and I still look forward to it even if the song itself might not be winner-material in May.

If this will be selected tomorrow, I will give The Roop 8 points for now.
