The best part of this is that we'll now get to enjoy Monika Marija next year with another two songs that can only be stopped by a handsome man with an ok-ish one said about three people here.

Now when I've cooled down down little bit ... I think it's not a bad entry at all, will not reach my top 10 of the year but I am not pissed off anymore that Monika lost with Jurijus. It's more like a decent radio-song than the ESC entry in my book though. I like the chorus, and the fact that he starts off the highest notes (falsettos) which is kind of unusual (I think it's a pretty underutilised concept in general in music, not only pop songs) and draws me in making me forced to pay attention to it. Jurijus is cute too. I give 7/12 for now.

I actually think that this is one of the better Songs in the ESC-year. He still might work on his vocals … Probably not making it to the Grand final, but it grows on me. Might upgrade soon.

It is around the middle of my so-far studio-NF live ranking. I think this is the type of song that for many will be somewhat in the middle, so it does not bode well but everything is possible at the ESC. Lithuania last year is a good example, the way the song was presented and sung was magnetic and worked magic even for me eventually. Especially for something that seemed so bland as I listened for the firs time to Ieva's studio version.

I can only consent to everything you said. Let me put it like this: I can't even compare last year's entry from Lithuania to this one. leva's performance outshined, even though the song wasn't that brilliant. Still, I loved it. But "Run with the lions" is really mediocre, I gave it 4 points, but this year I gave so many entries 0-3 Points that 4 points seem almost like a leading to a good ranking .
