Since i've got the Eurovision cd i've had "Attention" on constant rotation. I think it's the best produced song of the year. It's a great shame that this hasn't got fan hype surrounding it. Vilija is this years Margaret Berger in a way. Her song is fast, pounding, hard hitting synth pop as well but with rnb flavour. Her voice is incredible.

I think the public are going to go wild for this. I just hope the jury doesn't wreck it chances.

The only thing comparable is the use of really heavy, aggressive synths. Both are unusual songs for Eurovision in that regard. Margaret's song I think proved to be a lot easier to digest for fans. She had a light, high voice that was probably not too far away from the voices you'd hear singing pop songs. Vilija on the other hand has a really hard hitting soul voice which some ears just aren't going to appreciate. Her song is also a lot more chaotic but that's part of what I love about it. I think "Attention" is a really cool song for Eurovision and I love it's 90's vibes. I also think Vilija has given some of the best live performances so far. I think her result will surprise a lot of people.

I think this is actually the Igranka of 2014. It is more similar as kind, it will do well in televoting (Ireland, Poland, Georgia are in the 2nd semi) but it is sure that it won't get many points from the jury, maybe and none....

Indeed, Aisté with "Strazdas" was very underrated. In my humble opinion, this is in part due to the draw: Lithuania was the first country to sing back in 1999. I'm afraid that this year, the draw will be again very decisive on the final result, especially because of the new draw system introduced last year.

The backdrop is great, just what was needed for Lithuania. Not sure if the delegation will be making any changes but it's the most effective 'kind' of backdrop they could use.
