I just looked at the list of who composed what song. 7 of the 16 songs are composed by the same foreign composers. Kinda lame.

Yeah, we already discussed it a bit here. Aidan O'Connor or what ever his name was is a hack lyricist from Ireland. He/they also submitted those same songs to other countries, such as Moldova. Such a disgrace for already a terrible selection format. Thankfully, a Lithuanian homebrewn song won. Now let's hope it stays with the original intended singer who also co-wrote it.
