A great effort by a youtuber

I love all these video's people do on youtube with their own designs. It seems more effort has been put into these video's than what ORF have into creating that slogan.

If they really wanted the word "bridge" in the title, there's a lot of good options with that word like "bridging together"

Austria's touristic slogan is nice though, "arrive and revive."

The tourism board slogan is a ripoff of this

Austria has many bridges

Yeah, in Austria, but there's not really much in it for the other countries xshrug

But I'm not saying the logo is bad, just questionable - before I read that it was more of a, uhm, how should I explain it? It's about making connections between the countries.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought it was Austria who brought East and West together by tearing down the Iron Curtain in 1989 for refugees of Eastern German Socialism in Hungary. Subsequently Cold War ended and Germany reunified.

What if that never happened?

"Building Bridges" only gives me political vibes, something that the contest isn't suppose to be x0s

And frankly I'm still a little bitter at how the last ESC played out so this will only make me less enthusiastic about what's to come xshrug

Of course I will still enjoy the songs and national finals, but when ESC starts.....xscared

Also can you imagine what some people will be saying when the draws come out? "You call this building bridges? So much for that "

You mean when ORF strategically place countries to make their song and their 'friends' songs do better?

I'm so and so with the slogan. I like the message but it sounds kinda bad for a slogan to be honest.

I don't think ORF would draw deliberately. They'd rather return to a complete random draw.

The last really good slogan imho was "Feel your heartbeat". The following were rather pointless. At least Building Bridges has a point, although it sounds more political and less encouraging.

Also the logo conceptions were hardly ever valuable or sophisticated.

I think Athens and Belgrade had the best designs to date and Belgrade had also a good slogan.

I agree, builiding bridges has a good meaning. But I don't think it works as a slogan.
Indeed "Feel your heartbeat" was the last great one.

I don't think ORF would mind a random draw, but they are probably afraid to look bad in front of EBU and Christer Björkman who invented it
