Latvia have to send Carousel. Their only chance of getting to the final. Quality song, fantastic staging. My only worry is the spotify streams, since they count towards the vote.

Just heard through the finalists. Latvia normally hasn't been one of my favourites in the ESC - far from it, actually! And going through these songs made me realise why.. : shaky vocals, questionable lyrics, uninspiring arrangements and melodies.
But finally - when I came to song number 10 my hopes for Latvia were risen: That Night caught my attention from the start (in a good way this time). I loved the lazy and soothing feeling of both voice and intrumentation here. For me this is the only option for Latvia this year, and they might even sneak into my top 10.
