Well...........the song is quite bad, but it has some charm in it I find it silly, but I feel happy when I listen to it The lyrics also don't bother me.

I really like that tries to come out with different styles each and every year, and aims to send even quite unusual songs for the heck of diversity. I really appreciate that.

Angel in disguise was a very good song but it went too vain on stage, like "Here we go"...

But Eurofans hate it because they supported the crappy "Banjo Laura" by Lauris Reiniks, and Musiqq win was quite unexpected, as every latvian winner ! 3
Well, Blitze or at least Pieneniu Vins would have been more promising in terms of Eurovison. But my favorite one was Dace Upite with Magnet ! .

Agree with this, "Angel in disguise" in studio version sounds very nice, I still have a compilation CD with that song and I sometimes play it while driving. But it was so dull and lame on stage

Of course, along with the 'cake to bake' lyrics, won't be taken so seriously! Still, this is a step-up from last year!

It's strange. I figured there may be a few that'd try to copy the winner's formula but a lot of the songs this year seem to be following Kedvesem and Tomorrow's progression rather than that of Only Teardrops.

Totally agree. That was actually the only recent entry that I disliked with a huge passion (I didn't like last year's song either but the degree of "hatred" was not nearly the same as the from 2011), and all the others I liked more or less.

I liked Musiqq's Angel in Disguise, not when it came out, but as the time went by until Eurovision, and I really loved Anmary and Beautiful Song (it was my number 1 at one point), but they played it safe in both years, as did Aisha in 2010. I'm kinda wondering now if Latvia is becoming the next Netherlands since they haven't qualified since 2008, and the way things are going, I predict they're gonna have to sit out again.

Tbh was my #3 last year. But I don´t really like "Cake to Bake" and gave only 4 points.
Imo Latvia will stay in the semi with this song.
