Then there will be no kate ryan. It's something that happens once in a lifetime. I think this time we are supposed to try and predict which entry will fail to do as well as odds suggest. Because only one song is the favourite (like France this year) and the question "who will be this year's kate ryan?" becomes pointless since there's just one option. But I believe it depends on interpretation.

The only songs in the top 10 of the betting that could possibly get knocked out in the semi-finals are Sweden and Hungary. Both have really dodgy vocals, Sweden have dreadful lyrics and a stage show which could fail in the semi if the glass doesn't break as in rehearsal. It's an accident waiting to happen. Personally, I hope it does as the song is a stinker. Hungary is a good song but she hasn't sung it very well at rehearsals, is inexperienced and her voice may not hold up, and Hungary does not have many friends in the voting.

Other than that, the two hot favourites UK and France are already in the final, so no real Kate Ryan opportunities.

^ I think Kati did a great job and I just read a comment from someone who is in the dress rehearsal right now and he said that vocally was much better.

After watching the rehersals, i now fear for kati wolf.... Sounded awful :s I know a lot of you will disagree lol. Also, the whole glass failing to smash for sweden was hilarious, fingers crossed it happens on saturday again :p. Sorry swedish people lol. Also the uk and france sounded not up to scratch, but maybe they will change this....? Have to say the live winners for me are bulgaria (wtf) and latvia..... Keep a eye on this one, reminds me of when estonia came from nowhere to win in the 90s.... Speaking of latvia, does anyone know what happened to prata vetra (brainstorm)????

I don't think Amaury can't failed as much as Kate Ryan did.

First he is already in the final and then the juries garantee him at least an half-defeat like Israel last year and be 12-13th.


Hungary can really be 2011 Kate but i hope not, i predict she will be good enough to be 10th.


Anyway poor Kate ryan like Cyprus in 2007 were really killed by the one semi thing.

I choose to believe that with two semis of 20 countries both Belgium 2006 & Cyprus 2007 would have least been in the final

Wait until the second semi is over before crowning this years Kate Ryan, we've already got some scalps but there could be a few more in the second semi.
