The Kantō region (関東地方 Kantō-chihō) is a geographical area of Honshu, the largest island of Japan. The region includes the Greater Tokyo Area and encompasses seven prefectures: Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba, and Kanagawa. Within its boundaries, slightly more than 45 percent of the land area is the Kantō Plain. The rest consists of the hills and mountains that form the land borders. In official census count on October 1, 2010 by the Japan Statistics Bureau, the population was 42,607,376 amounting to approximately one third of the total population of Japan.

In the Pokémon franchise, a region named after Kantō is the first geographical setting of both the anime and the game series (it was featured in Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, FireRed and LeafGreen, Gold, Silver, and Crystal, and HeartGold and SoulSilver).

:kant: got #21 in the draw of the final. After when I knew the qualifies of Semi 2, :kant: is the only asian country/region which is in the final! xshock1

Ohh gosh I feel really sad for you who competed with the other asian countries/regions who did not qualified to the final. xcry1 I wish you all good luck in the next edition. #asianpower xhug

Yeah I know, but sometimes some asians performs really good in the final. As an exemple ::na, :kr:, :seou: come second once. The asians still not get the same kind of success that many european countries get.

Shugo Tokumaru - Katachi​


Well, quite different from last entry right? I really like the stopmotion in this one. Its glorious, creative and definitely in tone with the song. A really eyecatching entry. The song is really catchy to and Shugo are also a very skilled singer.

Thank you, I hope indeed that I will qualify again. Lets hope!

In the meantime I have updated the statistics with Semi Final placements to.

EDIT2: #JusticeForKokia makes perfect sense here, amazing song with a poor result.
