Not wanting to dance anymore, but I must dance
I was curious about JESC this year because of Kazakhstan and Wales.

I've noticed Wales is taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The United Kingdom took part as a whole from 2003 to 2005 inclusive, but was completely absent 2006 to 2017 inclusive. This year, S4C has entered a song in Welsh to represent Wales only, but from what I can gather, officially the EBU is treating Wales as a new participant for 2018, and the United Kingdom is officially absent yet again this year. Whilst it's nice to see Wales taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, I think it would have been better if a national UK broadcaster had submitted a song to represent the United Kingdom as a whole, and thus be its first Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry since 2005.

Ukraine: Not bad a song to start with, but undeniably it's a protest sort of song with the "Love not war" lyrics. This was among my bottom 10 when I watched the preview videos earlier. I'm not sure it will be worthy of a top 10 placing today.

Portugal Quite a catchy song but again this too ended up in my bottom 10 when watching the preview videos earlier. Still I think it's better than Ukraine.
