in recent years the boomakers have refused to give odds on JESC, some saying it is not right to bet on children, so this year will be no different, I will contact them this week and see if that changes, but last year none of them would give odds.

Malta will be the one that gets the press award (if they have one this year) Federica is amazing, she can out-sing them all, and the song is beautiful. I called it last year and I am doing teh same this year, Malta will win!

Russia is highly regarded, as is Cyprus.

I was supposed to be working on JESC this year in Marsa, but I was working on starting a business in Romania so I had to cancel my trip to Malta. I think

I am going to say something now that people may disagree with, but I think Bulgaria could do VERY well...
I have predicted a lot of things regarding this years JESC, such as returns, amount of participating countries etc..

I will write an article about the odds if I get anything from the bookies. I also did a quick JESC article today about general things JESC: One Week From Today | ESCunited.com

Bulgaria is very well liked and regarded as a favourite so how would people disagree with that?

because the show is aimed at older teens, and the 3 from bulgaria are younger..

I also think Bulgaria will do well, up there in the top 5, but I can't see it winning though. The win will be a battle between Russia, Armenia and Slovenia and then a jump to Georgia and Bulgaria ending the top 5. I wish Sweden to do well, but I think that NL, Sweden and Cyprus will battle for quite similar voters and will end on a share bit for each, possibly with NL doing best of the three. San Marino will be last though, only getting points from Italy I feel, that song is way too Laura Pausini-like to work in Europe 2014..:/

But if I now has to pick a winner of the three....hmm..... I say it is Armenias turn again. :p

Nah I don't think so, I think the song is too hard for the average JESC-voter I am afraid. But around 6th to 8th place is absolutely possible though. ;)

Personally I think it's between :bg: :mt: and :sl:.

Armenia shoud be lucky to avoid the last place considering how annoying it is.

I use the same feeling that I have done the last years in ESC, I don´t expect a good result for Sweden to prevent any disappointment ;)

Armenia winning? Really hope not. If a uptempo song were to win it would have to be Cyprus.

I've been listening for all the songs now!

My top 3 would be:

1. :by: Belarus - such a good song with uptempo (reminds me a bit of Only Teardrops) and the girl can acutally sing!
2. :bg: Bulgaria - REALLY strong vocal, just love it!
3. :sl: Slovenia - Also a really powerful song, i really love it and it's so great composed.

I wouldn't mind if one of these 3 songs winning on Saturday!
