It won't be "I'm not yours" 'cause that song was in WV 47 xcookie, xpray for... everything else, I like all those 3 songs, so different and special for some reasons! :D

Thank you so much for sending Crystal Kay and with THIS song as wellxheat I was so excited when it started playing during the LL. It just puts such a big smile on my face each time I hear it. I really, really, REALLY hope that you can finally get into the final with Japanxcrossed

Okay! It's my turn to try and break the curse now. Well... in two editions from now, at least, when I can finally participate.

I'm new to WV, so I'm not sure of what I'm supposed to do here - should I follow on from this thread and claim it somehow, or make a new one?

Looking forward to starting up some NFs and sending in entries!

You gotta ask a mod for making you thread owner so you can change the thread title and the opening post and so on...

you don't need to make a new one, the mods will change the thread starter once you play actively in WV :D

I still have to spend another edition as OP, but I'm getting antsy... I've prepared national finals for four separate editions already. At this rate I'll need to hold an NF to help me decide which NF to use first :rolleyes:

Welcome (officially)! I can't wait to see what you'll give us! xcheer In terms of tips:
1. No genre is off-limits; don't be scared of something just because it doesn't feel like WorldVision. Polemics against airlines and 7-minute long accordion pieces have come top 10 before. If you love it, it is never completely out of the question that others will too.
2. Sometimes songs fail to qualify. If you aren't ready for a song to fail, tread very carefully.
3. Have unbelievable amounts of fun. WV is a joy.

Thanks for the advice! I'm planning to eventually send a little something from every genre I've got, so I'm pretty sure there'll be both pleasant and unpleasant surprises for me, results-wise. I'll be sad if my favourites fail, of course, but after following Eurovision and its NFs for enough years I'm hoping I've built up some level of resistance to disappointment :lol: I'll be happy as long as I don't end on 0, really - it'd at least mean I've managed to entertain someone, which is really all I'm looking for. Even then, though, I'd probably take the 0 as a badge of honour!

And yeah, I do think I'll have a good deal of fun with all this. I've already found some great new music to look further into from my one edition participating as part of OP, and the last few days have been great - going through all my old music to pick stuff out, brushing up on photo, video and audio editing to present my entries nicely, channelling my inner Bjorkman to rig my NF running orders... it's been interesting. Now just to wait another week and a bit... xwait

WV65 NF: It Begins​

Finally, it's time for my first WorldVision NF! I've tried to get a nice range of genres to start us off: for this edition, we dive straight into some alternative fusion metal (Kuusou Rumba) before having a bit of cheesy fun with the ethnic bubblegum pop song Maware! Setsugetsuka. For those after something a little more conventional, we've got emotional rock pop (Makasete Tonight) and a moving power ballad with lovely vocals courtesy of LIA (I Miss You). After that, it's back into the weird with atmospheric fusion techno number Hiiro Gekka Kyousai no Zetsu (First Anniversary Remix) before we finally close out with an emotional piano piece (Believe Me). Hopefully there's a little something for everyone!
