I actually think that Ningyou and Chou are slightly better than the others...but I also love Tsuki...aaah Dx
but those three would definitely be in my Top3!

I like chou,
ningyou is too rock-ish
tsuki is also nice

I think I have to be Juror a little bit more longer

I think you could do very well with Tsukiko! And the people of WV like Rock
But maybe you're right, anyway I think Chou would be a good choice!!!

Sorry FoFo, but I have waaaaay too many Japanese songs that I want to use in contests, and I suspect that NSC isn't really the audience for most of them. It would be a shame for Japan to be without a presence in WV since for me it's such a diverse musical country (I won't just stick to the styles that I personally love either, otherwise you'd have cheesy J-pop and Eurobeat every edition )

But yeah, this is only if neko is leaving the Japanese jury...

AdelAdel - if you show me the songs he showed you, I can see if any of them speak to me. But like I said, I have way too many ideas of my own

I miss WV to be honest - it's a lot of songs to get through, especially if the semis coincide with an NSC edition, but it's introduced me to soooo many awesome songs that I'm kind of missing that!

And it's so nice to be missed! Also, don't take my last post as a sign that I'll never send a Japanese song to NSC - I've been holding my favourite ever Japanese language song back until I got on the main roster, and I've just been distracted so far

Rin' - Sakitama ～幸魂～

Rin' is a Japanese pop group which combines traditional Japanese musical instruments and style with elements of modern pop and rock music. It is a female trio of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music alumni who graduated in 2003. The band made their performing debut in December 2003, at Meguro Gajoen, and in April 2004, their first single, called "Sakitama," was released by avex trax. According to the band's website, the name Rin' comes from the English word 'ring', the Japanese word Wa (和, meaning both 'ring' and 'Japanese-style'), and from the trio's hope to create a 'ring', or circle, of music.

Since their debut, the band has performed in many venues around the world, and have released four singles and several albums. A number of their songs have been used as themes for anime and movies, most notable is Fuhen used in the Samurai 7 anime. Their chief international album, Inland Sea, was released worldwide: in Europe and the United States on April 25, 2006 and in Japan on August 30, 2006, featuring guest performances by Leigh Nash and Lisa Loeb.

According to the band's website, as of 13 February 2009, Rin' had put an end to their activities and decided to disband.
