Funny that today in the first round of Germany the act Abor and Tynna covered this song as well!Skyfall doesn't suit Giorgia wellshe sang it technically well but it could not compare to Adele's rendition

Sanremofestivalen. They have already chosen Giorgia for the ESC. They are hitting Cristicchi and made Giorgia win with a performance that was not up to par, if not terrible. Towards the end she even said to Annalisa "Shall I go?" to be able to give the final throat blow. Meh... Many deserved it, but not Giorgia. Tonight the award is undeserved.

And on spotify, 3rd now, against all young rappers!! RESPECT! Grande Giorgia!
If jury support her tomorrow and stand behind her, she can win this! I hope she accepts Basel in that case!

Lucio Corsi has some chances. There's been a lot of hype around him since the festival started and he's been in the top 5 both on Tuesday (journalists' jury) and Wednesday (radio jury and televotes combined). Also, I think his 2nd place tonight is boosting his odds.Lucio Corso and Serena Brancale are my clear favorites, but I guess there's zero chance of them winning?

Cover nights don't count for final ranking this year, but It gave us some hints.
- Giorgia Is the main favourite
-Olly and Fedez can compete for a podium, maybe even more
-Cristicchi will be lost in the televote. Still I think he will be on the podium

Why he would be lost in the televote ? His song has very emotionnal lyrics so italians can relate to it (people on Ariston were in tears) and they're so powerful that i can't see him outside of Top 2 in the televote. He also has the most views on youtube and best like ratio. It means a lot.
I also think Giorgia is equally favourite with Cristicchi. But i have a feeling she wouldn't accept to do Eurovision in case she wins. She said on an interview 2 years ago that she would prefer a younger singer to do Eurovision instead of her and that she has given her all.

I have this feeling because usually Cover Nights follow almost the same voting patterns of the actual competition. Giorgia won cover nights, Cristicchi Is nowhere to be found on top. This doesn't count for the final rank, but Is a hint of who people is going to vote for. The betting odds agree with me, 'cause Cristicchi, who was frst in the odds just yesterday, has fallen behind Giorgia and Olly after cover nights, while Fedez and Lauro are approaching him.

Premonition: if Olly goes to the ESC because of Giorgia's resignation, he will suffer the same fate as Michielin. I hope that the unbridled ambitions of his record company do not lead him to burn out. Champions have always worked for Italy at the ESC. With Giorgia, Top 10 would be assured. I do not think that Giorgia will let her last chance slip away. It is a great advertising opportunity to increase her sales. In a few years she will be at the level of a harmless Massimo Ranieri. Now I'm sure about Giorgia, Olly and Fedez being the top 3, with Corsi and Cristicchi to complete the final. Lauro is losing a lot of momentum.

He still has some chances but last evening showed us he has very labile televote support, linked too much to his song and message, nowhere near to the one that Giorgia, Fedez and especially Olly will have regardless from what they do on stage.
Cristicchi will likely not have the Radio jury vote for him, and the Press seems like it's choosing Giorgia.
