I am happy that Loredana and Diodato aren't performing as late as I feared. I don't know if I can make it to the end today as I need to get up early tomorrow and I need to be fresh for my students. I can't look like a zombie.

Sanremo is going big this year.
It will be broadcasted in Albania (last night on Tvsh1, others on Tvsh2) , Romania, Ukraine, Spain (last night) Montenegro and San Marino, obviously.

The foreign press returns to Sanremo 2024, after the restrictions caused by Covid in the last three years, for an increasingly social and international story of the Festival.

Between the Press Room at the Ariston Roof and the Lucio Dalla Press Room, there are 19 radio stations, 13 newspapers and 5 foreign television stations all committed to building a story of the most important week in Italian music.

Around 50 journalists were accredited between radio, television and print and web publications (including us at Eurofestival News). They range from European media, such as Le Monde and Die Zeit to those in South America - Chile and Argentina - up to reporters from the Transcaucasian state of Georgia.

Furthermore, this year there are important presences from foreign public radio and television services: the French France3, the British BBC, the German ARD, the Serbian broadcaster RTS, the Croatian HRT, the Romanian TVR and the Swiss RSI.

Radio, TV and online publications that address Italians living abroad, from Great Britain to Belgium and the United States, also cover the Festival. Without forgetting that the 2024 Sanremo Festival will also be broadcast by Rai Italia which covers the markets of North and South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

Tonight i hope the girl from Savona Nali has the song to win that famous trophy.Ever since i first saw her perform in Friends i knew one day she would make the podium of a Sanremo. She has done that, but the last year she went back to doing the songs she wants to do instead of the ones others want her to do and she has been the artist of the summer. It looks on paper a quality SR,maybe one of the best ever,so winning or even the podium will be very very difficult, but she might just do it.She was very unlucky not to win with Una finestra tra le stelle in 15 but was up against the televote powerhouse of Il Volo and jury darling Malika Ayane.
If the song is as good as Mon Amour she will go close.

I point out for the umpteenth time how much wiwibloggs doesn't consider Sanremo, at 6.53pm it's the only blog linked to Eurovision that still hasn't made an article on Sanremo, for months! while on Benidorm, Melfest and smaller competitions he writes articles several times a day from many time!

There won't be as many breaks/interval acts tonight as we have 30 Campioni acts to get through so do no fret. :)
