I hope Italy will surprise us and don't go with the conservative choice in the end but it looks like that won't happen... Not that Marco is bad per say just that there are more exciting options.

The Black Eyed Peas fell in love with the scenography of Sanremo and in the future they could collaborate with Maria Chiara and Gaetano Castelli. It was Amadeus who revealed that the American group wanted to meet the set designers of the Festival during last night's live broadcast: but what happened to the Ariston and what did they say during the meeting? “Their rehearsals were behind closed doors and they wouldn't let us in. So my collaborators and I left the theater for lunch and when I was in Piazza Colombo, one of the authors of the Festival, Alessio De Stefani, called me and said: "Run here, the Black Eyed Peas want to meet you". I thought it was a joke and he insisted: "You didn't understand, they were amazed by the scene, you have to come", Maria Chiara Castelli tells FqMagazine.

When she returned to the theatre, the set designer first met one of their managers: "I was shaking his hand, but he hugged me instead". Then the meeting with the Black Eyed Peas, who made many compliments to the set designer: “They knew the Ariston and were struck by how we had worked on the space, they were interested in the super dome, they wanted to understand what materials a part of the electrical system. Then they asked me for my business card to keep in touch and they said: “Keep in touch”. Out of emotion, I spelled out an answer in English. I was struck by the warmth and affection, it is a certificate of esteem that left me breathless and which I obviously share with my colleagues and with Dad".

Castelli was also amazed by the attention to detail: “They asked me what dynamic LED was, a light source that works both as a light and as a graphic signal. These are products that we use a lot in Europe, they use them even less”. Collaboration in sight? “Who knows, it would be a sensational dream. This certificate of esteem was beautiful and unexpected for me: I thought about how happy my mother would have been for me and I was moved".

If it's between Ultimo and Marco, I hope Marco wins. His song and performance is better and when it comes to Eurovision I think Marco would do better with the televote and especially the jury vote.

Lazza has the most potential in the tele-vote in my opinion from the current top 5 followed by Mr. Rain but its hard to get the top spot as newcomers in Sanremo.

Lazza and Rain are both good... And will be good even for Eurovision, imo. Both songs have potential and such a unique appeal... I think Mr.Rain came second only to Ultimo in the televote yesterday (otherwise I can't see him climbing from 17th to 3rd in a single night), Lazza is good with both Televoting and Press: he could be top 5-top 7 with both. But I don't know if those two songs can be serious contenders for a win in Sanremo. Mr.Rain song is hated by the press and I have the feeling Lazza will be underrated by demoscopic jury. Btw they already won their own Sanremo: people are loving their songs and Radio companies aswell..

He will be, unforunately... And we all know why: fanbase. His song is just not good and his voice in his first two exibitions wasn't great too. When I see him over Lazza, Mr.Rain, Madame, Elodie, Mara Sattei, all with better songs, I think Sanremo's voting should be changed in the future... Otherwise, the artist will always win, not the song....

I will never believe that Ultimo won the televoting. He's struggling to get 900k views on Youtube still, lol. He dropped even below Elodie on Spotify right now.

That's because you actually don't know how fanatic the majority of Ultimo fans really are... For the majority a fandom made by toxic teens which insults everybody who don't think their way. They will do everything to make him win, even if he will present one day Peter Griffin's farting symphony on stage...

I do not agree. Our voting system is the most perfect one.
Consider that nothing is decided. We have had other cases of this kind.
I would love Mengoni Lazza and Madame fight for the top

It's not that perfect: two years ago Fedez-Michielin were barely beaten by Måneskin and we all know why Fedez-Michielin were there in first place... Because Ferragnez...
