I didn't expect it from you Polly 🤣
You know very well that at least 2 songs from the first night might be top 15 in the final, you may like them or not.
Personally I think that Alessandra Mele has a terrible song, horrible to my personal taste but I do think she is going to have a good result in the final
It's our complex voting system that crowns a worthy and qualitative winner, sometimes conservative and sometimes innovative but always very Italian and mostly well received by the ESC public
Fortunately we don't have William Lee Adam's, Nikki Tutorials Bjorkman or pseudo ex ESC stars in juries composed by 5 or 6 people which don't have any idea about Italian music but judge only in base of what would be worthy for ESC.
❤️

My comments have nothing to do with "ESC bubble" expectations, not even with my personal perferences for e.g. alternative music, rock, metal, electro...🤣

My comment is just an expression of complete DISMAY with lack of any VARIETY among entries that have been selected to compete.

A total contrast to past 2 years where people could have chosen already in the first night from various baskets: wanna Achille with some Blues Gospel Pop, Elodie with a power ballad, LDRL with dance rock, Michele with some classic ballad, Gianni with a festive pop hit, Rkomi (nude 🤣) with Trap Rock, should I continue....

This year all entries are like some cardboard model cutout followed by all.

It looks and sounds like Arctic Monkey's new album, a whole hour of same piano bass tune with a sedated voice. Deep depression. 🤣

Btw who's the guy with that children's choir who can't hold a tone longer that 4 secs? Who let him in the same room with Anna Oxa? A disgrace! 🤣

Ciao Ciao. 😁

P.S. Save us all and please provide Blanco with some proper in-ear monitor, he's the only one who kept me awake for a second or 2. 😁

Hands off Nikki, she is great! (On the other hand, I will personally help you feed William L. Adams and Bjorkman to croccodiles should you be down for that...)

The fact Napoli are currently 13 points ahead of Inter Milan for the Scudetto makes this encounter between the kid and Amadeus (who is an Inter fan) all the funnier. :D
