No. He can only win one. Malika Ayane's song is beautiful but full of the usual motivational sports messages. Arisa's song is better in my opinion because it is more poetic.

Could be just my taste, but my overall impression is the second evening was generally stronger, so I wouldn't be surprised with the opposite
And if last year is anything to go by, this could be played in 0.1%, until the public weighs in.

Look at the placings behind,Emma 2nd on the night but only 6th on when both nights added.That means first nights votes more spread and Elisa won tonight by a landslide huge jury vote.

Yeah, that's a solid argument. Will need to check in the morning the other (bottom) placements if it adds up, but it more likely does than not...
...which would put Elisa ahead as a strong favourite.

Her voice is something incredible... At some point is kinda "bland", but at the same time it has some "honey". It is my real ASMR.

These were the five acts I liked from Sanremo 2022:

Irama - "Ovunque sarai" 7/10 (last year was amazing, this year is not quite in the same level imo but it's still a very good effort)
Noemi "Ti amo, non lo so dire" 7/10
Gianni Morandi - "Apri tutte le porte" 7/10
Aka 7even - "Perfetta così" 7/10
Sangiovanni - "Farfalle" 7/10

Another year I'm not feeling Sanremo as much as everyone but I really hope one of these five songs win. I believe it's between Mahmood&Blanco and Elisa though - despite the fact they are amazing vocally, I'm not really into the songs.

If provisional placing is reliable, most of my faves are doing very well. Elisa's song is too stereotypical san remo song imo. Those kind of songs haven't won in a while, but the host entry's curse is real and i'm scared.
Disclaimer: Elisa is not the worst by any means, i just have high standards for Italy

Yaaay! A much better night. My top 2 are humorously on brand for me (the deep voiced mature diva with her dramatic ballad and the nice bald gentleman) but when they were as good as that, I had no choice but to respond. Giovanni and Iva both gave such mesmerising performances. Their songs were stunning. Giovanni managed to make me a little emotional even.

Tantissimo wasn't as good as Dov'è but I still enjoyed it. Unsure if I'm being a bit too generous with the score. Chimica was of course fabulous but I'm worried that one has the potential to drive me to my nearest insane asylum after repeat listens as it's almost too much of an earworm. That was probably the best Emma song I've heard. Her performance was wonderful. Abbi cura di te was good but those last 30 seconds of the song were on another level. What an ending. I hope the rest of the song grows some more on me cause I know I'm going to be listening to it now just for that outro.

I fail to see what the fuss is behind Elisa's song (bit of a Disney princess waft to it at times) but if Italians want her or Mahmood & Blanco's song for that matter (which I'm also not crazy for) then so be it. This is a special moment so the important thing is to pick something that speaks to you and that you're proud of.

You are not the only one here ... after Italy has been my overall winner twice now (2020 and 2021), this year I can't get behind M&B or Elisa should one of them win. Both songs are very average for me, nothing to get excited about. And in Elisa's case I also don't like her voice at all. Well, this time I hope for other countries bringing more entries that I can support.

I liked Night 2 more mostly due to the variety of the sounds (not so much genres). Overall though there is one song I love and some I like, I think that the 2020 edition (I didn't follow 2021 at all) was better in terms of songs and was at least more exciting.

Anyway my favourite remains Ciao ciao but I also liked Dove si balla, Apri tutte le porte, Farfalle, Inverno dei fiori, Tantissimo and Duecentomila ore. From the ballads, I would rather have Ovunque sarai, Miele or even Voglio amarti over the frontrunners, but I don't really like any of them much tbh.

It's incredible how some make predictions so early.
I dont know but last nigh Italy jumped firs in the odds. All conspiracy? Italian government has payed for it or did I miss something that you know?
