Ho sognato di volare con te
Su una bici di diamanti
Mi hai detto: "Sei cambiato, non vedo
Più la luce nei tuoi occhi"

La tua paura cos'è?
Un mare dove non tocchi mai
Anche se il sesso non è
La via di fuga dal fondo

Dai, non scappare da qui
Non lasciarmi così
Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

E tu, sei come un pugile all'angolo

Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

Dimmi che non ho ragione
E vivo dentro una prigione
E provo a restarti vicino

Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

So i figured i just have to say something about this..... the whole thing strikes me as "competent", and that's it... the arrangements combines a lot of things i technically "should like", but it's just not an outstanding song to me, the unison falsetto part just sounds weird and is repeated too much, and like all Italian entries, there's just too many words.... i see it doing pretty good anyway, but i won't be rooting for it.
We already knew that you would not support Italy. Leaving the Måneskin aside, you had already complained to Diodato (complete with red angry emoticons) that he had not quickly released the edited song for the ESC (Diodato had only won for a week). A song must be composed of music and words ... there are different ways of composing but it is only the perfect balance of these two components that allows the birth of a song. A song then, in addition to making people dance, it is nice that it leaves a message and it is that message that makes it enter the hearts of the fans, to make it sing and remember. You just said with your speech that the music you prefer is nothing more than "a series of prefabricated fireworks" and therefore without any substance. From next year, all of us Italians will write to Amadeus to get them to go to ESC 2023:

Or send a song like this:

Among the primates who don't say many words or a song consisting of a few words, all those who hate a song consisting of words will be satisfied. xrofl

Can any Italian fan explain to me what exactly is Fantasanremo and papalina? Thank You!
It's a game where you make a team of 5 Sanremo contestants and you get points based on what they do during the festival's week, the creators of this game used to meet in a bar called "Papalina" so they decided that one of the things an artist gets points for is saying "papalina" on stage.
Keep in mind that the same game exists for Eurovision and it will probably be marketed heavily once we get close to the Eurovision week.

I've been trying to get this to grow on me .. but nah. It just feels so hyped. A ballad? Really? It's not unique. If it wasn't in Italian, a beautiful language it would be very generic.

I can see it top 10 easily, but the idea Italy will pull an Israel or Ireland with this seems way too presumptuous for me. A 7/12 for me. Good song but very hyped.

Well, going against the sort of meh general feeling in this thread, I believe I'll be wearing the Italian colors again this year. :it: xrose

I wrote a quick post right after San Remo and after hearing the song only twice (2 times was what it took for it to grow on me).
I said that it was not a Maneskin nor a Diodato, but I instantly gave it a 12 in comparison to what we had so far.

I'll stick to it. The truth is it's not competing against Maneskin or Diodato, for whom I had a massive obsession. And with that thought, I'm quite sure this will stay high in my ranking (maybe on top) once all the entries are out.

There's just something very special about this song and these guys performance. It's memorable, their chemistry is fantastic, it made me emotional and I have proper chills whenever I rewatch the live delivery.

Can't ask much more from what a song is supposed to make me feel. So, have my love once again, dear Italy. ❤️

IA ballad? Really? It's not unique.

Good song but very hyped.
Have we ever had urban contemporary ballads sung by two men?
I don't remember any. I remember a lot of beautiful or less beautiful Disney style, classic, evergreen or emotional ballads sung by solo males or females or groups
According to your point of view we should not have pop dance songs because we have had so much of them? Or ethnic bops? We can have all genrs
Talking about HYPE. A general observation. Just to exagerate a bit making an example. That southcorean male group which has millions of fans and has had so many hits should be OVER HYPED for my standards because I don't like them at all.
The question of HYPE in the ESC bubble is very present because we belong to different countries, cultures, ages ect ect
That means very diverse opinions. Often these diverse opinions are mixed with a bit of sane nationalism or other factors.
On few words if I like something that even many others like it's not HYPE. Otherwise if I don't like it but the others yes it's HYPED.
This word or concept is over used in the ESC community but doesn't have any sense.

I’m surprised that others here liked La Rappresentante di Lista as well. They were among my favorites while watching. The song itself was very fun, but the staging was far too scattered and unfocused. They seem to be moving in an upward trajectory with their placings, I hope they come back soon. Sanremo’s non-ballads are some of my favorite songs since I started watching ESC.

In Instagram Q&A someone asked him about previous Sanremo participation, he said he sent this song in 2015 and got rejected.
OK. Now I understand. Many other Italian singers have been rejected during years. It's something that happens often
This year Arisa got rejected too.

Like last year with the Maneskin, when a song is very successful, artists begin to come out and, exploiting the accusation of plagiarism, they try to advertise themselves xrollinglol Read this article. It is very short, just a little taste.

Sorry to interrupt your circle ****, but I have finally listened to all songs and omg are they good! There's a reason Italy does well at Eurovision and it is mostly thanks to its healthy music industry and Sanremo representing it well. That being said, it could be better - too many raspy voices, similar sounds and lives weren't good at all.

Godlike (10/10)
  • Esagerata: yes, total randacore, would send to WLSC

Would play on repeat (9/10)
  • Virale: brilliant
  • farfalle: it is fun, it is current, and it is what would be a nice change of pace for Italy

Actually really good (7/10)
  • Brividi: expected so much more since I love and listen to them both; it is good of course, but doesn't deserve as much praise it's getting nor it's a winner
  • Ovunque Sarai: touching, pretty, ballad that avoided all traps that would make it boring
  • Ciao Ciao: didn't expect to like this this much, amazing

Would listen to again (6/10)
  • Perfetta Così: the beat and the melody compliment each other so well

I like them, wouldn't skip, but wouldn't remember to play them on my own either (5/10)
  • Duecentomila ore: release it in Spanish xheat
  • O Forse Sei Tu: it's there, it's good, it's too basic
  • Ti amo non lo so dire: verses are just unremarkable, chorus is great
  • ORA E QUI: it's just fine

Middle of the road (4/10)
  • Abbi cura di te: a fine song, but didn't do much for me
  • Ogni Volta È Così: meh, totally forgettable and bland
  • INSUPERABILE: being somewhat upbeat helps it a lot
  • Inverno dei fiori: still waiting for this guy to sing something more captivating

Fillers (3/10)
  • DOMENICA: weak chorus drags the overall experience down
  • Sei Tu: fine, but rather boring; not fan of the voice either
  • Voglio amarti: fine I guess, seemed better in a recap

What were they thinking? (2/10)
  • Tuo padre, mia madre, Lucia: if you have a point, just write poetry
  • Chimica: repetitive mess that does nothing but be annoying
  • Tantissimo : uninspiring dad noises
  • Dove Si Balla: the goal was what; I was under the impression that it would be more fun in a North Germanic language
  • Miele: too goat-like

God is testing me (1/10)
  • Apri tutte le porte: blood-boilingly annoying uptempo that would make Swedish schlager singers blush

edit: So apparently SESSO OCCASIONALE was the song that Tananai has sung, I like it too, it's like 8/10
Good reviews! I actually have a similar view when it comes to these songs (those that I am familiar with).

As for raspy voices ... well these are people from Italy. On Sicily every other woman have a raspy voice even when speaking so that you might guess that this voice belongs to a long-time smoker, don't ask me why is it so - but it is not due to tobacco consumption! xD

So is it already clear that Brividi will stay 100% in Italian?

Btw the Brividi Music Video is #23 of the Austrian Youtube Trends
