Menu for the fourth evening of Sanremo:

1) Homemade Ascoli olives;
2) Crostino of decomposed parmigiana (in this recipe, traditional cuisine blends with experimentation. Mmm ... it's like eating Diodato's "New Age Ballad" );
3) Homemade apple strudel.

After this meal ... we will beach on our sofa like seals watching Sanremo

Tonight we will find out who will win the "New Proposals" category! Fierce battle between Wrongonyou, Davide Shorty, Gaudiano and Folcast! Personally I believe that Gaudiano and Folcast will go to the final

You should take a trip to Italy like Goethe but stop in all our restaurants .There are so many wonderful specialties to taste! Ascoli olives are very greedy Here in Italy you can often find them in a pizzeria together with fried zucchini flower and anchovies, supplì and potato croquettes. For the strudel ... we have to thank the influences of Germany and the former Austro-Hungary. Our food baggage is immense! Just think, we also produce our own cuscus! In our history we have absorbed every culture. I tell you something amazing, did you know that "Carbonara" is a dish that we have created thanks to the landing of the Americans? Americans used to put bacon and egg in pasta and ate. One of our cooks took this simple custom to create a delicious dish (where no cream goes! The fabulous cream is obtained thanks to the melting of the starch of the pasta ). Anyway, you too have an delicious dinner! Don't forget the Rittersport afterwards! Yummy!

Going back to talking about music ... I don't know ... Gaudiano is very good but I think Folcast could win. Tonight I have to listen their songs again ... I'm still doubtful

Italian cuisine has to be my favorite. I love the Mediterranean vegetables (Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers..) I literally live for them, I also love sea food and fish, and pasta, risotto, olives, figs.. heaven

anyway back to Sanremo haha, this has actually been my first time watching it and I will probably watch it every year.. yes it drags, but sometimes I enjoy the interval acts as well since a lot of the time they are quite famous/previous Sanremo participants (every day I watch last year's interval from Richi e Poverri - Sara perche ti amo and Mamma Maria are such bops)!

my winners would be: Irama, Annalisa, Maneskin (imo way better than Finland, less emo and more rock), Gaia (love her from before, Chega is one my fave songs), Francesca and Fedez + my biggest surprise are Colapesce and Dimartino - I LIVE for that song.

Oh yea. I have lived in Austria (Vienna) for three years and the apple strudel there is simply delicious (okay, it certainly depends on where you eat it). They serve it with hot custard. That's new. I didn't know that Americans inluenced the Italian Carbonara sauce! I remember that when I still lived in Tokyo, there was a restaurant where they had 150 ways of serving pasta. I never made thru the whole menu ...

The fact that he just looks like two french rappers, one physically and the other one vocally (especially in his live performance), makes me love it even more lol
