Ah, so probably they won't be going to Tel Aviv even in the case of victory.

Tbh, after them having been disappointed with the results of 2015 (since the juries robbed them), I honestly can understand why they would probably decide to not represent Italy again.

One of the best Sanremo line ups ever. Female singers are still too few - probably Baglioni is misogynist - but considering the genres this is probably the most varied (?) edition in years. Can't wait to hear the songs, I think we'll have many potential Eurovision entries this year!!!

1 According to the rumors Arisa is in with a BANGER xheat
2 Achille Lauro is the craziest choice since Quintorigo in 2001, I hope he'll bring on stage the WORST entry he can, he's already ICONIC.
3 The numbers of participants coming from the indie and rap/hip hop scene is incredible, this is what Sanremo needs: contemporaneity.
4 Artists can reschedule their concerts, fyi.
5 I love Sanremo.

P.S. It's a shame Einar won Sanremo Giovani, Federica Abbate ROBBED.

But i dobut that Il Volo could reschedule their concerts in :jp: cause they could be sued by the organizers cause their concert here was programmed there due popular demand and it would be unethical to them that they put a serious commitment (Eurovision) on top of the other.

Oh dear. Unethical? It's show business after all. These things happen everyday. Concerts can be reschedule (and not cancelled, that's different) for whatever reason, organizers must deal with it and fans can too.

That said, I don't like to see the same artist again and I honestly think they wouldn't do Eurovision one more time.

I have hight hopes for San Remo this year. And once again Italy will probably show the other four of the big 5 how to do it.

I'm very excited about Italy too as they strike me as one of the countries to send the song and not think about whether the result will be good or bad

May it be right! xheat Early this season, I randomly wished she were participating and my post ended up flopping big time :lol: I'm so happy she's in!

I'd love her to have another competitive song xlove I wasn't fond of her last participation with "Guardando Il Cielo".

The two winners of Sanremo Giovani have changed the song as the rules suggest, in fact all the pieces in February must be unpublished.

Mahmood will sing "Soldi" (Money in english)
Einar will sing "Parole nuove" (New words in english)

As is usual the young singer song I liked never got recognition anyway. It seems to me that melodic songs often don't do that well.
