They're the "big thing" in Italy at the moment. Therefore they don't need Sanremo and probably we won't see them (in 2019 at least).

I love them anyway and I would like to see something like "Felicità puttana" or "Completamente" or "Riccione" representing Italy at the Eurovision.

Actually in 2018 5th place was Ornela Vanoni! Ron was 4th!:? (JK) but yes Italian men are pretty successful in ESC.. Meta/Moro finishing 5th was a success

I want a woman with strong voice and believable stage presence (even if it's clear that men are always more successful for us).

Or it may be that Sanremo winners are more successful than not winners (or not even contestants, like in 2014).

I dream Annalisa, but she will not be next year. After the 2018 podium, she will surely stay at home in 2019.
All her singles released this year have been certified and also the album "Bye Bye", she is the only woman of 2018 ... what does this girl have to do to go in Eurovision?

She will really be great choice, something different from Italy. Beautiful and talented girl with modern music. I follow her career/music since this year's Sanremo.

Italy won the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2018 with Annalisa. "Il Mondo Prima di Te" received 350 points (record of points, Mariette 329 in the edition 2017). 2nd place for France with Emmy Liyana and 3rd place for Saara Aalto.

You know what? In an alternate universe the dream of the other Rainy is not to send a 70 year old diva, but instead to send the one and only Annalisa. So you need to support this idea as well to make the other Rainy happy. Happy Rainy from alternate universe = Happy Rainy here. Who knows maybe in that alternate universe the Rainy eventually is Annalisa even?

I only care about others, which is why my focus is on making emotional ballad performed by 70 year old Italian woman loving Flo from a parallel universe happy. Happy parallel universe Flo makes for happy Flo here and for happy me.

In this universe I may be far from crazy for Annalisa but I appreciate this song at least. Love the chorus.

Considering how the Eurovision selection works in Italy, Annalisa will reach 70 before taking part and then she'll sing her beautiful emotional ballad. Flo and Rainy will be both happy. Just wait a... few years.

Im not sure il be alive then Krishoes to see such a seminal moment,but if i was i might hope to go to the other side as the performance ends.Really looking forward to getting the names for SR.Hope Chiara is back with a song worthy of her talent.I think Malika might be touring so probably not at SR :shock:

^^^^ The last song I really liked by Chiara was Straordinario (funny how Ermal was one of the writers ), hopefully she brings something great back.

Also, I adore this new song by Elisa talking about female voices, I would love to see something like this at ESC

Elisa would be a big challenger for the podium with the right song,Luce is still a wonderful memory for me.Not too long for the names now.
