Please keep discussion in this thread specific to Eden Golan and her song, Israel's (potential) participation in Eurovision 2024 and discussions or remarks from other countries and organisations about Israel's participation.

Any further discussion of a political or humanitarian nature not relating to specifically Israel in Eurovision 2024 needs to go into the politics sub-forum. Thank you!

Not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed listening to it. It's nothing groundbreaking, it's generic, so it won't be high up in my top though.
It's a bit in the love love peace peace bag as Russia's entries in 2013-2015, isn't it?

If she has the vocal talent to carry this song live, this song will be so impactful on the stage. She will be under a lot of pressure for sure for all the wrong politic reasons so I wish her all the best.

Honestly: songwise i think this is one of the best this year.
But in my Personal opinion Israel should not be in the Contest this year. So i dont know how to feel about this.

A good song with a pretty MELODY. Shocker! You don´t have to be inventive, thought-provoking, script-flipping, avant-garde or whatever. Sometimes it's just this simple: a good song sung well. 7p.

PS. I still think Israel has NO place at ESC this year.

It's quite middle of the road for me and the song is nothing without Eden.

The song is good, music video is pretty... It clearly refers to the kidnapping tho... I like when she looks like a office worker, its pretty. And its dynamic, the end part with the sun is cool. If it was not from Israel, but from some other country it sounds top 5 to me, considering the other entries we have and I bet she will have beautiful staging. But considering all this political mess, idk, but as you can't anti-vote its still possible if everything goes well.

I leave the politics aside, as I don't know what to think, there are problems both sides, I guess... But some of this toxic behaviour related towards their participation is kind of disgusting... People acting like 10 year olds, maybe even less, thinking they are the navel of the world and can demand everything and be so petty as they can just because it's right... grow up please... atleast I dont know these people personally... a relief :)

The song has some good moments, but the chorus is not strong enough in my eyes. She might sing it even more powerfull live, and its probably the best ballad of the year. There will be political voting for Israel in the televote and against Israel in the jury voting I fear. Therefore I dont see it in a top position in the end. I give 6 points.

It's a :7:. Surprisingly, I don't feel the song, "thanks" to its production. I stan the lyrics for obvious reasons (even though the original lyrics was cut and the meaning got lost a lil' bit), but I thought the song would be more impactful.
